Right 30g a day. That should be easier to work out! Diet coke? I've looked at the can & it says 0g of carbs & 0g of sugars... althou the artificial sweeteners may have some impact? Or not? Also, 1 more thing, my Mrs absolutely loves haribo sweets... dieting lately has been torture for her, not being able to have a cheat day or sweets or anything, which is probably wrong in itself anyway, but I've been quite strict with her, on the cheat day/meal, would a 160g packet be a problem? Haribo Starmix Serving Size: 100 Calories: 344 Total Fat: .2g Carbs: 79g Protein: 6.6g Thanks Papa, really appreciate it.

Diet coke is fine... try to get into keto first before using them however. Haribo as a desert on cheat day would be fine.

Could i alter the diet as below and still expect Fat loss while still being able to weight train with some gains? Was thinking something like this for diet: Meal #1 - 6 - 6:30am: 5 whole eggs. Train at 7:15am Meal #2 10:30am : whey protein isolate with tablespoon natural peanut butter. Meal #3 12:30pm: fish/steak/chicken some almonds or pumpkin seeds, maybe a half bag of micro palou rice or cous cous. Meal #4 3:30pm: whey protein isolate withtablespoon natural peanut butter. Meal #5 6pm: fish/steak/chicken breast with some almonds or pumpkin seeds again, then the other half of the rice or cous cous. Meal #6 9:30pm: 4 or 5 egg whites or else an other chicken fillet before bed. Posted in Diet and Nurtition but was told to ask in here ... thanks in advance for your suggestions

I've been looking at the costs of Omega 3 eggs (in Asda) & they're about £1.62 for a pack of 6... Due to the vast amount of eggs I will be eating on this diet, I'd rather buy a big pallet from Makro (wholesalers) for £2 (30 eggs), but these are not the Omega 3 enriched eggs. Would it then be ok to take either one of these tablets to supplement for the Omega 3 loss with in the eggs? http://www.tesco.com/groc.../Details/?id=258816694 http://www.tesco.com/groc.../Details/?id=255431548 So I could have the eggs I buy from Makro and get the necessary amount of Omega 3 from the tablets. Thanks

Always take with water as it can cause problems in the digestive tract if not drank with enough liquid.

Hi Papa Thanks for this diet i am planning to start it on Monday coming i have a few questions before i start which hopefully you can help me with. I am using Matrix Anabolic Protein http://www.matrix-nutrition.co.uk/Product.aspx?5KG_Matrix_Anabolic_Protein&Code=MA11 will this be ok for the diet, also will mixing the protein with milk make any difference to the diet or would water be best? i have decided to just use norm eggs and take omega 3 supps i have two tubs of max strength omega 3,6&9 as far as i can work out seems to be 1200mg each can i use these or would just the normal omega 3's be best? Thanks

Thanks The protein is fine as long as you stay under 30g carbs a day overall. No milk in this diet (as it contains lots of carbs). I prefer normal Omega 3's with a decent amount of the essential fats in them.

Hi just a quick question re cardio. I'm gonna run the diet for a month prior to going on holiday. I not that cardio is to be low intensity to target fat loss and minimise muscle loss. I'm not a competitor i just train 3 days a week. I do however cycle to work every other day. this is 20 miles of fairly high intensity. I've gone low carb before but with a high fat intake so never suffered a lack of energy. is it ok to do high intensity cardio? cheers tim
