Valuev is the sh1ttest, slowest heavy weight I have ever seen and if he weren't so big he'd be nothing more than a  club boxer....to say he's a big hitter is a fcuking joke.

I can seen Haye pounding the body and wouldn't be surprised to see Valuev Ko'd

Haye on points

Pound the body, get him crouching, uppercuts all the way home Haye baby..... :)

Im trusting Integra and going with Haye although I do think its going to be a tough fight for Haye to win.

Valuev might make a great debt collector but as for boxing......

Valuev isn't all that bad, he does cause people problems. Most seven footers are as fast as slugs, but Valuev is much faster than that, around the speed of a sleepy hedgehog

My prediction is a wide UD for Haye as in the other thread

But to be fair, Haye could get knocked out if he gets too careless, Valuev does not have the heaviest hands in the world but Haye doesn't have the best chin either. It's not a foregone conclusion IMO

To all the people saying haye on points - Are you stupid? For haye to get a points victory in germany he would have to literally beat valuev to a pulp, basically embarass him to give the judges no other option. You have to bear in mine Haye is going to be in germany, with judges picked by valuevs team, more chance of finding your first **** than haye winning on points. Imo i beleive what haye and adam booth are saying, he will chop away at him round by round and eventually the bigman will go down. 8th round ish imo.

Re:David VS Goliath - 06 November 2009 21:29 ( #29 )
id like to say haye, but i just cant see how he is going to do it. i dont think he could knock the big man out, yeah he is cumbersome and not technically skilled, but those arms are loooonnnnnnnggg, i kickboxed for a while and had a few amatuer fights, and i can say that reach differences of that size are just so hard to deal with.
and he is a mean mutherf*cker. he will just keep coming at haye when haye is trying to execute a plan, not letting haye get into his swing.
i reckon valuev will end it with a big dirty bear club of a right hook in the 3rd or 4th.
calm down, its life, mate, its only a game

Stupid is a bit harsh, differing opinions is what makes this fight a great fight to watch

my heart says haye, but my brain says valuev.  As for my money- I'm not touching it with real money, maybe a couple of quid on valuev R4 and Haye R9.

Haye is pound for pound the best heavyweight, and by a large margin.  Valuev has 90 lbs and 11 inches on Haye.  There's only so far speed and skill can take you, and 90lbs a a clear foot is a step too far imo.

I go for valuev to win, He has the size, strength and judges in his back pocket.

Isn't Klitschko any good then. I saw an interview of him talking about Haye and Klitschko looks like an upper class russian gangster and he's a big bloke in good shape. Plus he's world champ, I'd bet against Haye in that fight TBH. Saying that I've never seen either fight, so my opinion is worthless, I've jumped on the david vs goliath bandwagon.

Just found out this fight is in Germany - Damn, Haye has little chance over there. I have seen enough dodgy decisions in Germany to know  that Haye will have to knock valuev out cold to win and Valuev wont go down easy.

Can't see haye lasting more than 7 rounds, poor punch resistance, suspect stamina and huge physical disadvantages. I've had £10 on valuev for stoppage in any round at 10-1. I like a bet and love watching boxing, had a few good wins over the years £5 on hollyfield to beat tyson at 100-1 and £5 hamed to stop billy hardy in 1st round at 20-1. Also had some bad losses bruno to beat lewis and many more.

Would love to see Haye do it and hope he does. My doubts are: -

a) The fight is in Germany where Valuev is based
b) Don King is involved
c) Haye may not be able to physically last 12 rounds

Don't think Valuev is anywhere near as good as his record suggests but he does have a massive size and weight advantage. Massive feather in Haye's cap if he can pull it off.
I can't recall what forum it was but I threw one little c.unt into a sentence and you'd have thought I'd bummed one of their grandmas

I know you get some suspect decisions in european countries, but tbh, this is such a high profile fight, I would hope they wouln't get away with it if Haye completely outboxes him, maybe if it was close, but we'll see.

You ever watched the holyfield v lewis first fight? Doesnt get more high profile than that and it happened there. this fight will be no different - haye has to ko him imo.
