swordfish daz since you started training how proportionatley have your main lifts gone up? have you always just been good at bench? rough figures at bodyweight of around 90kg i can deadlift ~250x5 squat 250x5 but comparing those near lifts to yours my bench is around 140-150x5 I also understand your not trying to powerlift obviously but your bench amazes me compared to your other lifts. hin mate will what i will u is my bench was always poor and i havent really lifted heavy for well over a year in all that time not really done the bench just incline. So when james l says thats go back to some good old power lifts he said about the bench and it has come from nowhere mate just jumped up since them lifts i postede been working hard thats why not had no time now deadlifts gone upto 300kgs for 5 reps and squarts upto 280kgs for 10 but hurt my knee playing football so had to take time with that lift. Tricep extensions 45kgs 10reps thats one hand ones so lifying heavy is doing me good watch out on mt in about 6 to 7 weeks will be filming some of them lifts for u all to see

Lambo Question for Daz Ball, Hey there daz Before I start with my question I just want to say you look awesome and I wish you the best of luck with your upcoming shows. I was hoping you could clear a couple of things up for me. obviously theres a fine line between not working the muscles hard enough and over training them. I personally do drop sets on my last set of every exercise just to make sure I burn and feel a good pump after each workout. Do you think training in this way can prolong my gains and im slightly over doing it? Whats your views on drop sets in general? Hi pal well i think dropsets are really good to help to change your workout and drop your weight down but the workload u are doing is pretty much the same u are tearing the muscle down but i hink it helps bring out the density and detail its particularly useful for the contest phase when u are dieted down and more susceptiable to injury. Aswell it helps build muscle endurance which has really helped mre now i am going heavy again. So dropsets get thumbs up from me mate.

300kg x5 on the deads is nice, very nice. Should put you at a 340kg-350kg single, which I know you're probs not bothered about, but that's a very decent lift. There's not many BB'ers about pulling that kind of weight! Big thumbs up for going back to the power lifts!

Really couldn't get over the sheer mass of you Daz on saturday. Top bloke to boot as well. Just before I took the pic of you with IB, I was looking at you back. It has to be seen in person to appreciate how thick it is. Was good to meet you and all the best for the up and coming events.
