MikeS Daz Ball MikeS Few questions if I may: 1 - What is the macronutrient breakdown of the diet? 2 - Eating grapefruit, is that for the Naringin content or? Question for Daz: What is it that you do, that you feel helps you get that shredded-granite-hard look? And do you feel coming in so dry and cut is at the expense of fullness? Thanks james does the diet so i will leave them to him as for the other ? i like to be rock hard ripped and dry u can win a show like that but u carb upto much and go soft and see how u get on i will get the carb up right this year and be ripped and dry and full its one sport you never stop learning more about you and your body. hope your training is going well pal Ah that wasnt a criticism, I was just curious is all because your always looking freaky shredded and since Dexter came in softer at the O last year (but still in shape) he looked alot bigger for it even though he admitted himself it was not extra weight. I posed the same question to Dorian Yates (he had that crazy granite look too at one point) but he didnt respond lol so thanks! I am doing my very first show this year so was just kinda curious what you thought was crucial in acheiving that insane conditioning - as thats what I want :) Totally agree it is a sport where you keep developing! thanks for the ? mate and good luck in 2009 hit and volume two big tips for the condition you are talking about good luck with it.

dave252 Hi Daz What are your cholesterol ratios and bp readings like whilst on? How long do you intend to carry on competing? Much room left for improvement do you think? Do you think adding more mass is most important to you or symmetry/ shape and conditioning? Sorry for all the questions haha Cheers Hi mate i intend to carry on in the sport as long as poss or till i win the MR O { pls god} lol. My body has alot of improving to do am 29 so next 6 to 8 years i will see the best improvments and i think i have alot of mass i little bit more wud be nice but the thing i am working on the most is shape and symmetry, condition is fine. Thanks

Daz Ball danchubbz Daz, how long have u been splitting up your back session for width and thickness? Do u feel this has helped a lot as was thinking about it myself or do u think it's more just for the advanced/pro BBers like yourself? cheers i like to change my training around alot it may be reps, sets ,or days i train on but this is another thing you can do to improve to me one of the most eye catching body parts the back If you look at most peoples training plan a back session will be maybe 4 exercises to me for a bodypart so big its not another but if u was to do all the exercise you need in one session you will be over training. So give it a go over 6 weeks and see how u feel good luck with it and let us know how you get on. cheers for the feedback mate

Hi Daz Awesome physique fella, looking huge and shredded in your pics. Your legs are immense. I have a couple of questions regarding your workouts: I have just finished a power routine and after seeing your shoulder workout vid I am intrigued about this style of training. I have only ever worked within 5 - 10 reps, so I would like to have a bash at your high rep, high intensity style of training to see if it will promote new gains. I train at home so do not have all of the kit available to me that you do but I am trying to put together a routine based on the ones you have listed. Tonight I trained chest and found it very difficult and by the end I had very little, in fact so little that I could not finish the routine at the weight I had intended. I think I may have used too much weight at the beginning of the routine, do you have a rule of thumb on the amount of weight to use? What percentage do you use compared to say a working set of 8? By the end of the set should I be struggling to complete the reps with good form? I notice that your form is impeccable throughout your set, my form did start to falter towards the end, would this suggest that the weight I used was too much? I will list the workout I followed tonight and ask for your opinion on it (if you don't mind)? Flat Flyes 3 x 20 reps Flat BB Bench 4 x 15 reps Incline DB Bench superset with Incline Flyes 4 x 15 reps (each) Decline Flyes 4 x 15 reps Decline DB Bench 4 x 15 reps My triceps were so fatigued that I could not press 30% of my 8-10 rep weight on the decline bench. Also Daz, how much size have you gained using this method of training? Would you recommend it for building size or conditioning? Many thanks for taking the time to read this. Cheers Dan
