Daz has awesome focus and dedication, and i totally believe that next year we will all see a new Daz Ball, bringing him to a new level that we havnt seen from him yet! That new package along with a tried and tested tan, i look forward to seeing!!

Thanks for the write up James...

Can I just say this, about Daz's posing routine/style:

do you really think the sheer size & freakiness of Daz suit an artistic posing routine with a soft music?

Don't you think he should have used a powerfull song & heat powerfull poses to display his physique?

IMO the way he has presented himself on stage didn't suit his physique...

could be something in that. . .

Re:Daz Ball's Journal - Beyond the Finals! - 24 October 2009 13:58 ( #463 )
very interesting article there James, I can only imagine how hugely disapointed Daz and all of you on his team must have felt.
Seems that the officials were somewhat unproffessional in the gossiping, outwardly negative signals (head shaking) and acceptance of the glute display when it suited.

Had Daz not used the orginal type of tan before the finals or was it one he had previously used ok but just wouldnt take on that particular occassion ?
Ive not seen Daz's full routine so cant really comment about the choice of music and posing style but the crowd reactions from what shows i have been to always does seem to be greater when more powerfull type of music ( hard rock etc ) is used over softer music and a more graceful posing style. Maybe its something to consider.
Cant wait to see what Daz brings next year as this years experience will only help him improve on what is already an incredible physique.
Onwards and upwards.
It's guns o'clock 24 hours a day in Rackworld.

Yes Steve

Just to make people aware about you Steve:

Steve is a very good friend of Daz's who Daz has spoken highly of numerous times to me.  I only met Steve recently, but he's someone who has a lot of time for Daz and does a lot to help him.

Hi Daz .
The next plan is in motion then for the next step and all the best with that.

I did meet you at the expo and had some very helpful points for me to go on,and thanks for them.

After the show do you pig out ?
I and i think many others do ,but do you ever get acid flux?

I know its a bit of a off the road Q,but just wondering.

Daz

Re:Daz Ball's Journal - Beyond the Finals! - 12 November 2009 16:32 ( #480 )
Well now, they say a photo is better than a thousand words don't they? Well that photo says it all, and IMHO they all look very good. But, and there is a but...alvins legs need more work, i know genetically his calves will never be amazing, but still....his legs are not 2nd place legs, or even 3rd. Zak looks the best condition in his life, but very little vascularity in his legs, if any!!! So Zak should not have come first. Jus because its the best he looked, doesn't mean he should take the title.....

Now onto Daz...vascular, full, ripped, (tan has nowt to do with it, what the **** had tan got to do with his condition) Legs like a steam train, tight as ****, best he has ever looked, and he gets third...??? Come on judges, we can all see who should have won.

I dont write much here, but I do read the boards most days. I dont compete, but i do train, and ive been to a few shows in my time, and in my eyes Darren won, he knows it, I know it, and you know. Nothing against Zak and Alvin, but the best guy did not win on the day. This sport is a joke sometimes, and unfortunately its not like the 100 metres sprint, where there is a clear winner over the line, it all comes down to a group of men and women, who depending on there mood, and what ever 'swayed' them on the day. Is there not a better way to judge??? how about X factor style, where the public gets to vote??? Mmmm that would be interesting wouldn't it? We can all hand in our voting papers at the end of the day, and then surely 500 or so opinions would be more accurate than a judging panel who can be swayed by who knows what.....like to hear any of your thought on the above comment.

Thanks
FZR
