He routinely trains his fighters to grind out point decisions, yes his fighters win but does anyone really want to watch it? Remember when GSP was one of the most exciting standup fighters in MMA? Well not after Greg Jackson got his hands on him.

Admittedly I'm no expert on timings etc of starting to work with Jackson but didn't GSP become dull after he got KTFO by Serra and effectively decided not to risk it anymore?

TBH I'm probably being unfair, maybe because he has more fighters than anyone else but it has become a focus of Jacksons fighters that they are often grinding out points decisions.

He does also train Jones, Sanchez, Carwin, Guida, Jardine and other fighters that dont wanna just grind they're way to a victory, I personally think GSP just doesnt wanna risk losing, he fights like Fitch

It was ugly watching Big Country getting smashed, however he has to be one of the hardest men to step inside the octagon, the guy just doesn't go down or quit. I think the GSP thing is as you say, it's not that he's trying to win, more that he's trying not to lose!
A map is not the territory it depicts; words are not the things they describe; symbols are not the things they represent. You cannot not communicate.
