Nice peepee

You thought about bringing the grip in a bit if you're going for heavyness? Should allow you to transfer the leg drive through your body a bit more.

      v ncie matey.
tip for u though, thumbless grip all the way for overhead pressing mate!! honestly, it may feel a little wierd at first, and maybe a little unsafe, but seriously, thumbless grip for overhead BB pressin i promise will help.. helps u drive the weight up thru the palms of ur hands rather than thru the wrist!

AK: my arms are too long, I'm about as narrow as I can go TBH. I'll see, maybe now I'm getting more in the groove I can make it work. What was my peepee doing? (don't answer that LOL)

Thumbless you say... I've got so used to always gripping with a semi-hook I find anyting else very weird, duely noted tho.

Was feeling a little tight today but things worked out ok once I got going...

              BACK

Deadlift: 5x70, 5x110, 3x150, 2x180, 1x195 3x205 then 5x150 & 10x110 explosive w/2mins or so rest..... was thinking of going heavier but 205 felt right as I built up, it ended out going up easier than I thought but still a satisfying lift
LPD: 95x 11, 11, 10 and chins x10 w/90 or so secs rest..... think I have my reps right, solid work here and good rep gains
Seated Hammer Row: 100x 10, 10, 9 w/90 secs rest..... stuck an extra 5 on, first set felt really good. Nice sets anyway.
Pullover (Rope): 65-55 for 7 sets of 12 reps w/10 secs rest..... managed more this week but 10 secs rest is nasty

Usual roller and stretch to close

              10 mins cardio

Good session today, 205 was nicely done and the rest was well up too. Je suis un homme jolie

I dropped it once and turned it off hence the 2 DL vids, then the battery died without warning but enjoythe views anyway

Cheers guys. Yeah, the plates are a pain in the arse, especially for my deload stuff when I'm banging them out - the bar rolls all over the shop.

I use a semi hook grip I guess, my index finger hooks over my thumb but a proper hook grip hurts like fcuk LOL

Honestly, I think it does actually help you focus on achieving the lifts. There is a little apprehension that you will film yourself failing so with that comes the inevitable extra effort mentally to get into it.

                            Cheers, mate.

It's a respectable weights section for the genre of gym. DBs only go as high as 50s but there is a decent enough supply of bars and weights (even if they are hex), 1 SqR, 1 PR 3 separate bench stations (flat, inc, dec) and about 5 moveable benches. Not a huge space tho so it can feel busy quickly.

If I ever find myself slacking in a session, or wanting to skip, I do think to myself, "what would the boys over at MT say", helping me to smash out that extra rep.

I would like to see some variety in gym attire though if that's possible? Perhaps would vests should feature in your videos?

You will notice I have a specific 'vest' for each session. My old white Houston Rockets vest for legs, black Nike tank for chest, white nike tank for delts and ATM an old grey nike tank for back.

Right, was aprhensive today. I put my neck out on Saturday putting Zach on my shoulders, really badly. Had double vision and no mobility. Fortunately my osteo had a slot that p.m. so I got in quickly and while still a little sore it is hugely improved and most mobility is back - just a little tight and restrictive tho.

                                      That said, bring on fronties!

Front Squats: 5x60, 80 2x100,120, 2x140 then 10x105 w/120 or secs rest.....  pissed it. Ithink I should have gone for 3. But I was very happy with, what felt like, a very soild double. Upped teh blast weight too.
Leg Extension: 102.5 for 5+2 sets of 9+8 reps w/30 secs rest.... upped the weight, the couple started to bring tears to my eyes but all good..
RDL: 5x 70, 110, 150, 4x170 w/90-120 secs or so rest..... moved these up, upped the max weight, alas I forgot to rechalk and a 5th would have risked losing the bar
                                      Ham Curl:
65 for 15, 11, 7 w/60 secs rest..... remembering to do 60 secs rest made a difference, as did repping out the 1st set LOL
3 minute Calves: 80x10, stepx10, floorx10, 2nd and 3rd set saw the weights only get 8 reps..... lethal pumps again, am I meant to drop the weighted effort cos after the 1st set I can't get 10 again and on the 3rd set I'm lucky to break 5 or 6 LOL

Usual roller and stretch to close also 10 mins cardio before then cycling to work

Great session today, felt strong, also feel I should have tried another on 140 but hey ho. Was still a solid session. Young lady I often chat to was in after a few weeks off, turns out she has had a little 'surgey' done in 'all the right places' - keeping eye contact after that little gem of info was not he easiet thing I have ever had to do LOL.

Also put up an 8ft trampoline for Zach, wicked fun!
