Thats just how it goes on a 10 day split unfortunately! Saturday training for this week is hams/glutes/calves = deadlifts and good mornings. Never gets any easier!

It would get easier if we didn't have to keep putting the weight up or adding reps on, bloody silly game this LOL

Now the SLDL DOMS has subsided, my ham/glute pull doesn't seem to be quite as well healed as I first thought. My cat had Congestive Heart Failure yesterday it turns out and while he is now home and seemingly quite well, the prognosis is not great and they seem to have a post treatment survival time of 3-18 months. I'll get the bill tomorrow when they give him a check over.... GULP!

Sorry to hear about your cat bud. Our dog recently had to have an op on her leg... £550 Probably not what you wanted to hear actually! Though shes worth it, obviously.

Well there was no operation, just monitoring, ultrasound, oxygen and drugs so I'm hoping it won't be ludicrous. We got him when he was about 6 or 7 anyway (altho the Mrs had previously owned him before I was on the scene) so insurance would not have been cheap. Next pet I'll put the rough amount of insurance into a savings account. Then it's there if I need it and if not I've not given it away

Hmm yeah, pet insurance always seems to a luxury which everyone needs at some point though. As you say, a savings account may be the better option!

Fortunately the vet bill today could have been worse... still, it was £200 I could have done with saving as we had 2 weeks free rent this month that I was looking forward to adding to my funds. At least it leaves me in a stale-mate rather than down £200 and there's still a £200 or so bonus coming this month. On to the gym tho... DELTS Standing BB Push Press: 5x40, 50, 60, 70, 77.5, 85 then 65x10+1 w/120 or so secs rest..... last time round I only mare 4 on the last, made quick work of the 5 this week, could have gone for more but stuck to my plan of 5. Should have done more on the blast set considering. Seated DB Press: 35x 11, 11, 9 w/90 or so secs rest..... held groud here, tad annoying as I had felt I held back on the PP so thought I'd have more in the tank, did move on quickly tho. Side Lat Raise: 15s for 7 sets of 10 reps w/30 secs rest..... did them, but these were tough too. TRIS Close Grip Bench: 100x10, 10, 9 then 90x8 pump reps w/90 secs rest..... back to stauling again LOL, good reps tho an dteh blast set was a)up in weight and b) to chest rather than my usual couple of inches off. Dips: BW +15 for 3+3+1 sets of 11+10+9 reps w/30 secs rest.... was tiring by the end but started strong Usual roller and stretch to close Well I didn't go backwards on anything and the PP was good today but I had hoped for more after it. Not to worry. Test is on it's way. Just got to decide when to start now.

Pre-dosed up with ibuprofen today... BACK Deadlift: 70, 5x90, 130, 170, 180, then 10x110 w/2mins or so rest..... altho I am again aching slightly now, this was an easier session than I have had since the problem started. Last time I bombed on 4 reps (a couple of months back now), today 5 was pretty easy TBH but I again stuck to my plan and stopped here on 5 reps. Simple T+G reps to blast out. LPD: 87.5x10, 10, 10 w/90 or so secs rest..... good strong reps here Seated Hammer Row: 90x 11, 11, 11 w/90 secs rest..... had a good blast on these too Pullover (LPD bar): 65 for 7 sets of 12 reps w/30 secs rest..... used the LPD bar and shoulder was fine today, good little pump to close off Usual roller and stretch to close. Nice session today, leg felt fine during but aches a bit now, but felt strong thru out and could probably have done more than I did but I'm one for sticking to my plan and I did exceed my last workout

So long as I bent deep (squatted) into the DL start and didn't use too much SLDL style I was OK, not 100% perfect but the act of lifting was fine.... it just aches now, like a dull toothache/headache feeling but in your leg

Cheers, mate, cat's doing OK, altho he's suddenly become much more of a lap-cat. Manic weekend, had my boys birthday party at one of those play-house places. Went really well and he was a diamond despite having been up since 4.30am!!!! However, this morning, just before leaving he was a little bugger and wound me right up. My mate had popped over so he was acting up a bity and after spending an hour trying to get the blighter to eat and deciding he wouldn't, just as we were to leave he started kicking off that he hadn't eaten... it just managed to push all the wrong buttons tho GRRRRRRR LEGS Front Squats: 5x80, 3x90, 102.5, 112.5, 122.5, 132.5 then 10x85w/120 or secs rest..... Following on from last week, I did get the 3 this time round (only did 2 last time) but the last was was a struggle but I did it. Used a Reebok step for my pump set, VERY deep box squats (front) Leg Extensions: 95 x 7 sets of 10 reps w/30 secs rest.... got 10s all round this week, only just so may not be in a rush to up this. Ham Curl: 55x10, 9, then 12 w/90 secs or so rest..... on the last set I sussed that if I don't bend right over the laying pad it's much kinder to my ham trouble, and quite tough cos that last set was both legs, the earlier ones are single leg. So it's almost like a declined standing curl now SLDL: 100 for 7 sets of 8 reps w/30 secs rest..... this week started and finished on 100, but ran 8s thru-out just to be safe. Was gasping like a good'un Seated Calves: 50kg for 7 sets of 12 reps w/30 secs rest..... change of exercise here. All OK usual stretch and roller to finish Nice session, always good when you perform better and I did. Hammy still an issue. This week I will try not cycling to work at all as I have noticed more twinges there than anything else and see how things go. Got all my AAS ready to go now. As things are I think I'll wait til the new year now

I tried LOL, not certain I succeeded tho. I can't use a clean grip for love or money, cross arms for me. As for the cycle.... I have a 20ml 250mg/ml deca and 30ml of 300mg/ml test enan. My plan is for 12 weeks and there's not much point in not finishing it all so most probably: wk1-10 500mg deca wk1-12 750mg test HCG thru-out at 500iu PW and adex at 0.5mg 3xPW Never done more than 400mg deca before and never ran it with test above 500mg (altho I have run 1g test alone before). In fact it's been hell of a time since I last ran deca at all but I used to love it. I've been holding off due to this ham niggle and now I may as well see the year out and get going in 2010.... or maybe not mwahahahaha
