Re: Dirty gets back to basics - *pre-holiday pump-poncing... pg826*
Son off school again, got my morning session in but when I got home I wasn't happy with his rash. Last night he had what looked like a hicky on his hand, he swears blind he hasn't done it to himself. Has one or two other non-blanching patches too so got him in to the DRs. Had bloods done, all other meningitis tests are negative so should be OK on that front. Since we got back he now has a similar but smaller mark on his face, suspected platelets issue causing excessive bruising but we'll see.
Other than that I was feeling decent enough for today's session, some quick mobilising...
Supported DB Row: 10x20s, 8x30s, 40s x13, 12, 10, 9, 9

Incline BB Press (Med, 45deg): 8x60, 80x12, 11, 9, 8, 8
Pec Dec: #14x13, 10, 9, #13x 10, 9
EZ Curl: 42.5x10, 9, 8, 7, 6
X Cable Ext: #4x 12, 9, #3+2.5 x10, 9, 9
Decent enough start with rows, up 2.5 but hitting the reps with no real issue and feeling strong. Moved PD forwards to get all back work done first, up a full pin but despite a little drop on set 1 managed to stay in tough after that hitting good reps and tech.. On to Inc chest work and was feeling a little tight in the shoulder here to start with. Improved as the sets went on and didn't fade away like I expected getting decent enough reps thru all 5 sets (just). Upped pec dec a full pin but this was tough work and less shoulder friendly, got a bit better when I dropped the seat a notch but reps were still declining fast so finished a pin lighter. Biceps went well, was half expected the shoulder to tighten up on these as it can do but no problems and hardly dropped a rep. Tricep ext was like the pec dec, full pin was too much (altho the first set was one arm at a time and fine) so dropped a pin and added a 2.5 to the top. Pretty solid all said and done. Weight hovering just above 100 clothed but with a good upper body pump was quite content with what I had.
