Well I start properly tomorrow. had a crazy week in work and knew I wouldnt be able to train but back to it tomorrow. Have dropped a couple of lbs from dieting in the first week which is a start. No doubt in a couple of weeks I will be crippled with injuries!

My body feels knackered but finally getting used to my new diet. Trying to see if i can cut by 2lbs a week. That's my target anyway. I'm at 88kg and trying to get to 80 by the end of it while of course retaining as much muscle as i can.

I'm looking at losing about 3 stone. Over the course of 12 weeks its not that much per week but it will be hard sticking to any kind of diet for that long! I am notoriously bad for sticking to them for more than a couple of weeks!

Nearly end of week 1 - has anyone planned a cheat meal yet? I'm going to live it up in a french brasserie chain thanks to some 50% off vouchers. Will probably devour some chocolate digestives too.

I hate myself. Tesco have their Rasberry twirl cheesecake at half price for £1.98 - this is my favourite dessert in the world. I love it even more than Ben n Jerrys. Why did I have to walk down that aisle? Whyyyyy? Although I didn't buy it... Roll on Sunday.

Been ill for days now. I would have put good money in injuries screwing this up for me. Feel like coughing up a lung at the minute! Lost a decent amount of weight so far but a long way to go, hope I can stick at it and stay healthy!

Had the worst stomach in the world for about 4 days, constantly nearly ****ting myself every time I coughed -think it was from a bad Wok 'n Go. Couldn't for the life of me stomach oats etc so been eating garbage too. Back with a vengeance now with just under 10 weeks to go. Watch this space.

@ jimrat can't u tweak your diet a little bit drop a small amount of kcls or carbs or even a small amount of protein small changes to your diet can make BIG changes to your body. You could add green tea meant to help speed up metabolism have a couple with your meals or buy the tablets if you dont like the taste.Do you have a cheat meal sometimes that can help. How much cardio you doing?

Weight fell off me in the first few weeks but has slowed down now even though my diet is now much stricter than it was! Still coming off though just a bit slower. January was a mixed bag for me. Lots of illness and average diet but at least I put in the hours in the gym when I could. No noticeable changed but I expect to look different in the mirror in the next couple of weeks

How much cardio you doing? Will probably have to drop some carbs, there's normally a little bit of naughtiness in their nearly daily (one or two biscuits only). That could mean 190 kcals if you consider milk chocolate digestives! I'm already drinking a litre of green tea per day (love the taste, shame about the yellow teeth!). Cheat meals are once per week usually, although the past couple of weeks there have been two CV is 5x per week at the moment, usually twice per day on Saturday. So I guess the plan is: 1. 1 cheat meal per week only 2. Drop the biscuits! 3. CV will remain at current level. Twice daily CV is mind-numbing and time-consuming! Thanks titch!

It was going really well until this week - was on holiday and did the usual binging, resulting in 6kg weight gain which made me about 4kg heavier than when i started the SUC. Now picking up the pieces...
