Valid points raised on both sides.

A lot of people can't eat large quantities of food time after time. Either they don't have the stomach for it, or they don't have the time. I totally understand that.

I personally have never blended food like NR, but if that's what it takes, then that's what it takes.
NR is a family man, fair play to you fella.. balancing training and family life is no easy task.
Luckily, my wife is fairly undertanding of my training. Well.... FAIRLY. So im lucky not to be rushed here and there 24/7, guaranteed there are jobs that need doing regularly. The training may have to take a backseat soon tho when I start working 45 hrs/week....

Ì do 2 x 150g tuna in water (=300g) at one go every day.

Hardcore baby.

Why do that? Why not eat the tuna and drink the water?

because 300g dry tuna is a chore to eat dry and I only want the protein. Necked in seconds.

Back when I was 16-17 and first started doing some weights, I remember eating tuna and oranges, thats all I would eat, probably because I'd heard someone talking about it at the gym!

I still cant stomach cottage cheese, no matter how I mix it! =/

I am with you all the way on this NR, I find blended food to be much easier to eat and digest when time is short.  One of my favourites is a can of tuna blended with a sugar free cola.

working a 45 hour week is no reason to quit on your training or become less commited! its easy to fit things like work in around the more important stuff...like training, plenty of people do it!
I work a standard 40 hour week plus atleast 10 hours of overtime (thats choice though, not mandatory) still have loads of time for training, that said I'm single and the gym is just across the road from my work place which does help a great deal.

Sleep is the time the body grows/recovers etc...so why jeopardise that just to eat a chicken breast whole? NR is having the best of both worlds: full amount of sleep he feel he needs and a meal (the blended chicken later), without compromising on either. done.

not sure why we're even discussing my pre workout meal. I have no intention of eating chicken at 8:00am lol, my breakfast meal is fine as it is, oats, quark, whey, banana, casein.

It's pwo that time is short.

what the hell is everyone getting on NR's back for, he likes to neck chicken and tuna.........so what? i don't see him telling you how to consume your food.

and if he says he doesn't have time who are you to argue, we don't live his life style?  so how do we know what he really has time for!!!

Also by the way NR your looking really good in your avi, and turning 50 soon, it would be good to get some proper pics up to show people at that age shouldn't hold you back.

I don't really get some of the posts TBH

The thread is titled disgusting food that we have consumed and when we post up some of the disgusting things we have had, someone has a dig then you post up your reasons and there's another dig.

Anyway never mind i was talking to a lad about this today and he said the worst thing he has done is drink bulls blood, hes a old school trainer and used to swear by it!

I guess I'm spoilt now as I'm a slaughter man/meat wholesaler and have too much of the dam stuff!!

Looking good NR put some of the 25year olds i know to shame especially having a family to cope with well done mate

there was guy that used to post on here i seem to recall him saying about some sandwich he made something stupid like chicken and mackeral on brown bread.
He said is was rank, so he decided to blend and neck rather than waste it.
