I've put 'yes' although it depends a little on how I feel about the way I look on that particular day lol!

I'm 6'2 and 20st, 4lbs, around 18-20% BF.

I don't really bench but can close grip bench 160kg x 3 reps

You lot can be the judges haha

I was working in Cov during the summer and there was a lad on site who did some lifting which we chatted about on occasions.
He was bigger than me slightly...about 16 stone I guess he was.

One day we got talking about his deadlift and he told me due to the amount he was lifting, it would be silly to continue deads without a belt. I asked him what he was lifting to which he replied (with a very proud , if not smug expression) "3 plates a side".....I said....."what? 20kg plates"....he said....."yeah".

He was impressed by 140kg and there was no way I was gonna tell him my deadlift as he'd never have believed me.

I guess my point is, is that to me,  he looked like he could shift a sh1t load more than he could  but I guess I looked to him like I couldn't match his lift so I suppose it doesn't matter what the fcuk others think.
I just thought I actually looked (at the tiime) like I could shift 220kg+.....but to some, apparently not

I think I definately look like I lift heavy, whether people expect more or less though?

I expect more,  you promised me PBs!

They're coming!  Everything and everyone's trying to prevent me from doing so but there's one thing about inevitability...It's inevitable.
Squat: 363kg

Bench: 195kg

Deadlift: 300kg

@ (currently 114kg)

...soon to be obliterated!

To be honest not really sure anymore, when younger at 18-20 stone then I was stronger than I looked. Now due to joints etc.. lift much less. I supposse it depends on who is judging you and where you train.

im not really bothered about how much i can lift as im not in this game for strength, just size but i can lift a lot more than the average non trainer but in training id says for my size im actually quite weak as ive seen people much smaller than me bench more and deadlift and squat more than me , doesnt bother me tho as size is my goal not strength
If you only do what you know you can do- you never do very much.
