Does Ephedrine HCL damage the nervous system?

I have used Ephedrine HCL in the past. Another post got me thinking about it again and I might have another go for a couple of months.
However the one thing that is holding me back is a comment on Bodybuilding.com. Some fella was saying that it causes long term damage to the central nervous system? Is this complete bull?

I'd imagine it could cause adrenal fatigue with extended abuse, but used in short cycles (4-6 weeks at most) and not going much above 100mg/day, I doubt it would be a problem.
