Back in my late teens I used to take a milk protein concentrate (i think it was, could've been caseinate) and multi vits and liver tablets (lol) and not much else. Now I take wpi, mpi, creapure, pharmacuetical grade omega3s, nexgen multi vit/min, Ibcaas, L-glutamine. These weren't available back then and I might not have been able to afford them then anyway lol but if I could, I reckon I'd still have gone with them. Regarding the ones I did take...I prefer isolates now purely because of the lower fat/lactose content so would've dropped the original protein powder.

Yes I would be - but I think a better word would be "discerning" of what I would purchase. With limited time and in my case-budget I would read the labels with greater care.

THanks for the reply. i think i should have explained myself a bit better . It wasnt so much run of the mill supplements as per your post but more those that are on the edge so to speak , the pre workouts with 2 or 3 different stims in them , the otc designer steroids and ais, as i say anything thats borderline . i raised the thread because at 20 or so we think we are invincible and can conquer the world but 20 plus years on our attitudes change and so does the body.

Lol ok! Well I've never considered steroids or anything like that. I also don't do stims or pre workouts supps except ibccas intra workout. I don't have any caffeine in my diet either so the stims don't really agree with me. Tried NOExplode once as my missus was using it. I took 3 scoops and was all jittery and the head was fuzzy. Not nice and not necessary imo. Don't usually have a problem with energy levels when working out (maybe I'm not training hard enough or long enough lol) but I reckon once I'm rested enough and diet has been good, energy should be adequate.

Not age but the effects of age (I'm 63) I avoid stimulants because I have high blood pressure. I avoid steroids because my aborted attempts to use Superdrol and M1T resulted in very high blood pressure. Since they also resulted in big strength increases I am always tempted to try again.

I'm 43 and probably take more PHs, gym stims etc than I would have at 20! I think youths should try and keep it natural and take advantage of loads of free test, more energy etc and let older guys like me who are trying to hold back time make the most of the stronger supplements lol!

You mention PH -do you stay away from the harsher ones /methylated ones ? what have you taken?

First cycle of my life was at 38, epidrol, excellent results but I did work extra hard for that cut. Did epi again at 41, this time more mass orientated, then xmas just gone finished a dymethazine cycle. This was great but had to cut short due to illness. Now three weeks into a stack of halodrol, stano and tren, its the Dragon shredded stack. All Ok so far. I've never been afraid of trying things and to be honest I think older guys benefit more from "assistance", test is in decline and recovery slows a little in your forties and beyond. I will lay off PHs for a year or so now, and for the record I'm not interested in injectables, dianobol or anything like that.
