If you want you can wait, their will almost certainly be talk of the upgrade in April then somthing released over the summer. But it has to many Apps that have to many uses for me everyday to get bored or deem it useless in any way.

I thought the novelty might wear off with the iphone and the blackberry may be more practical. Id have to unlock it though to use a spanish sim in it when on holiday.

I think I would have got bored of a blackberry, on o2 you get unlimited data usage but if I went for the blackberry you would have to pay an extra £7.50 a month for the data pack I pay 45 a month but got the phone free and can lower my price plan in 8 months reduce it by a fiver each month till I get it down to £30 Not cheap but glad I got it, there are so many apps to keep you amused you will never get bored of an iPhone

I don't think you will find may people who regret getting it. Guy at work doesen't regret it but doesen't feel the cost is justified based on what he does with it. He would be the exception to the norm. I got Blackberry 9700 Bold and like it. I text, e-mail (occasionally and make calls.) Phone was free on the 3 network,18 month contract, 500 minutes, unlimited text, web, e-mail for £30. No chance of getting a deal like that on an i-phone. Don't browse the web much when Im out and about and don't have time or inclanation to play about with apps/games (where the I phone is best I.M.O) I prefer the look of the Blackberry plus have a 16gb micro sd card so use it as my mp3 (probably what I use it most for.) Everyone has i-phone. Im not going to argue that my BB is better but it suits my needs at a lower cost. If you think your going to get the use of the apps, bigger screen then get the i-phone, its a fantastic product.

You can get the nokia n900 for £25 on vodaphone. I'ts like a mini pc in your pocket. Full web browser with flash. I was watching the arsenal-burnley match in macdonalds using their free wifi last saturday on it. Well worth a look at ! Beats the i-phone hands down specs wise. If you just want fart apps though the i-phone is where it's at.

I bought an xbox 360 when they first came out and everyone was on about them. After 2 weeks i was bored and it got sold. Its not like if i do get bored of it i could sell it on line and that money would be enough to buy me out of contract.

In theory with all the apps you shouldn't get bored with it. Depends what you want from a phone.

I just browse the net on mine all day, awsome. Also useful for a spur of the moment cheeky tug in bed at nights.

Now on my new laptop i just set up an Itunes account.... Now i have only bought one album, but when i try to synk it it says "are you sure you want to synk music, all existing tunes on iphone will be replaced with songs from your itunes library" How do i upload new music from a new account without wiping my phone guys?
