Doing better in 2010
18 December 2009 14:54

I thought I'd have a look back at my progress over the year, so dug out my training schedules. Bearing in mind I thought I was feeling pretty strong, I had made NO GAINS whatsoever. I have to laugh, otherwise I'd cry!!! So, further to my last thread - the next step - my next step is now to make 2010 count for something, coz I'll be laughing really hard if I'm in the same position next year. I can't believe I was so off course!

No strength gains? Not even rep gains even if you haven't gone up in weights? What about BF%? I bet you've improved on something ;-)

Ahem, well... firstly I should point out I'm not anywhere the league most of the women are on here, so this stat might sound lame... but here goes. My bench press has INCREASED from 6kg dumbells to 10kg dumbells. My leg press hit 100kg somewhere around May, but I had to drop back to 95kg. Other than that everything else is the same. But I am feeling more inspired today than when I last posted so I'm going to make myself shake up and work harder. (Actually, the funny thing is I was complaining to a friend the other day that I never really feel like I've worked out when I leave the gym - now I know why)
