Bin wash man. Guy does it near the parents area. charges £2.50. I think within a 1 mile area there is about 800 houses. If he did only 1/4 thats still £500 a week. From what i have seen he now drives a nice new jag, so he must be doing ok.

From what i have seen he now drives a nice new jag, so he must be doing ok. I remember me and a mate where hiking from school one day and where at the football pitch that looks over our district and we were saying WTF were we going to do when we leave school and we came up with the idea of washing teh whellie bins. The bins only came onto teh scene at this time and noone thought of it untill a few years later and teh guy who did ended up with owning a few houses outright in a few years and having a few people working for him. All he ended up doing was collect teh money every thru/fri night. Wish to fcuk we had of done it instead of talking about it. None of us had teh money thou to start it up and both were banned from driving before we even could apply for a license so we were off to a bad start, lol

Bin washing.... could be one to add to the list, its something people wouldnt wanna do i suppose so would much rather someone else did it, do you think people would be bothered about getting their bin washed out though? bins holds rubbish and isnt meant to be clean tbh, it will always stink.

You get those bin deoderiser things that stick to the lid and make it smell reasonable.. Could get a job lot and go door to door flogging them for double what they're worth! "Scuseme sir I was walking past your house and notice it stinks.. I might have just the thing for you" then you open your posh briefcase to reveal your wares.. Or even better slowly open your trench coat where all these blocks are hanging lol

wheelie-gleam! great idea and very popular. I dont use it myself as I use the big massive black wheelie bin liners that get changed evrry bin day - those stop the bin from stinking! Plenty of my neighbours use the cleaning service though and the guy must make a few quid. other ideas: gardening fence/shed painting patio cleaning (pressure washer) Soffit/Eaves painting Gutter cleaning Odd jobs if you are handy. Lifting and shifting if you have access to a van

Good idea on making the bin smell nice after, just looked for them sticky scent things with not much luck getting them in job lot, found soap i could use to clean out the bins and leave a pleasant scent though so that could work.

sl window cleaning? nice and easy way of making a few quid! if you know how to do it, have a grand to spend on equipment, plus a vehicle, advertising costs, yes, a nice earner. oh, and you need at least six hundred customers to make a living at it.

Got chatting to the bin cleaner my mum uses - he reckons he averages £800/week (for pretty reasonable/manageable hours) and only over-heads are some cleaning products, diesel, and loan repayment on a small van. Make me seriously wonder why the feck i wasnt a bin cleaner!

cu3ed Is bin cleaning just as I think it is..taking the bins you leave out for the bin men, only you clean them off after etc? yes mate. put bin out, gets emptied, bin cleaners follow shortly after, quick skoosh and brush then a spray with channel no5 and they are done. Easy few quid per bin.

Theres a diff between washing windows and cleaning them. I clean my windows at the house without washing them and they are crystal clear after.
