Do the appetite suppressant effects take a while to kick in ? Ive been on 100mg eph a day for a week and it hasnt affected my appetite at all until yesterday when i didnt feel like eating much and hopefully that continues. I know my eph is legit as im using left overs from last year which a few times i took a few hours by bedtime and was awake all night and was "buzzing" Also are you supposed to split your dosages up or can you take it all in one go

Ephedrine iirc can increase blood sugar levels so usage in diabetics is not recommended. Diabetics are also at an increased risk of cardiovascular disease. Ephedrine would not be recommended to those with CVD or those at risk of CVD.

There are ongooing proposals to reclassify ephedrine (containing meds) to Prescription Only from the current situation of P (Pharmacy Medicines). My own thoughts are that this will happen sooner or later. You can nevertheless get ephedrine hcl or herbal equivalents from www.astronutrition.com

They contain pseudo-eph, not eph hcl. Whilst they may be beneficial, they are certainly not as good as ephedrine.

Mildly. Greater thermogenisis will occur with higher drug amounts, though its worth noting that most of the benefit derived from ECA is not actually direct effects like thermogenisis, but indirect effects such as appetite suppression and increased "energeticness". Both of these allow the user to decrease energy intake and increase energy output. Therefore, if the desired indirect effects are witnessed at lower dosages, it is might be prudent to keep them lower until such time as increases are necessary.

hi recently i have been taking thermogenisis (1-2 a day) which really surpress my appitite! so im not eating really in the day if i do its an apple and muller light yougart. and at tea time eiher fruit or if i have a proper meal its normally pasta. ive not been doin much excercise gym 1-2 a week and walking a few times a week. i seem to go off the rails at the weekend and all the weight ive lost during the week goes straight back on!(i no this is because im not eatin anough during the week) so really i need to start a new diet and excercise plan altogher, so any suggestion would be greatful. typically i eat fruit thru the day and a main meal in the evening. and im going to be goin to the gym 3-4 times a week! thanks

ORIGINAL: Pinkbunnychonie so im not eating really in the day if i do its an apple and muller light yougart. and at tea time eiher fruit or if i have a proper meal its normally pasta. Then you are not going to maintain effective fat loss. You will either maintain your current weight (body survival mechanism due to halted metabolism/shot thyroid hormone levels) or you may continue to lose weight a little more though any weight loss will continue to be muscle. Fat is the preferred survival fuel source in times of extreme dieting. It will hold onto it at all costs - it will sooner break down muscle tissue instead to meet its energy requirements. Muscle is metabolically active ie. it requires calories to survive. Less muscle = less calories burned at rest. Exactly the opposite of what you want! Do you seen my point? ive not been doin much excercise gym 1-2 a week and walking a few times a week. Another example on why you are not a good candidate for Ephedrine use. Bottom line, your exercise regime is haphazard at best. Your diet is alarmingly poor. Seek assistance in the relevant sub-forums here for guidance. Forget drugs.

I recently ordered and received some Eph and some Caff from Astronutrition. Been taking it for over a week now. I've built up to taking 4x8mg Eph's twice or three times a day and to be brutally honest - I haven't noticed ANY thermogenic effects. Nor have I noticed ANY sides whatsoever... no racing heart, no uncontrolled shaking, no inability to sleep - nothing... I have noticed reduced appetite but I've recognised this even when taking just 2xEphs twice a day (which is where I started). Question - SHOULD I bee seeing/recognising thrmogenic effects - if not, why not? And; if I'm getting the appetite suppressant results from just 2 Ephs and NO thermogenic effects would it be better to stick to just 2xEphs and forget thermogenisis? Ought to add that I have ALWAYS sweated profusely... I only need to look at a flight of stairs and sweat starts to leak from my pores...

Welcome Have you not even noticed an increase in cardio performance post EC intake? You may have a high tolerance level. I would forget thermogenisis tbh. It's not the main draw of the product. Just use for appetite suppression and increased cardio performance and increased alertness (if apparent)

Erm... I dunno really... 'cos I'm heavy on my cardio anyway - and I exercise at very intense levels. The instructor for my last programme review effectively said I trained too hard and did too much. I've always been a 110% man. I train for roughly 3-4 hours per day, every day. I do 45 minutes of Cardio per day and a full body weights programme. No split routines... I've trained like this for 21 years (ever since I was 15). I'm 5ft9 and 81Kg -my fitness goals have always been general fitness. I used to run quite a lot - half marathon in 78 minutes, 10Ks in 35minutes, marathon 3hr 8 minutes.... far from the build of a runner. Even at 15 I was the same height and weighed 74Kg (used to Box at 72Kg and 75kg). Obviously, as I have got older I have "filled out a bit" and I had an enforced 8 month rest/complete lay-off whilst waiting for knee surgery in both knees (worn out - not really surprising given my build and the level I ran at. One of the hospital physios even said "I look at people like you and I am disgusted. People of your build as runners equates to self abuse") Now I'm back training heavy - I stick to the Cross Trainer and the Rowing Machine - 10000m in 36min 50s, generally do 15 minutes at anythign between 1 min 53s/500m and 1min 49/500m... tends to depend on how well rested/refreshed i am and even how I'm feeling. Have I noticed a difference since being on the Eph? I'm having fewer bad days, thats for sure... but being relatively competitive - whenever my arse hits the rowing machine seat I strive to go faster and further than last time... So it's not really possible for me to say "yes, it's lifted my performance". It has DEFINITELY impacted upon appetite though... but I get that from just 2 Ephs... presumably, therefore, it would make more sense to stick to 2xEphs as opposed to 3 or 4 if the appetite supressant effects are apparent. You may ask as to why I have resorted to Ephs... it's the mid-riff... I've ALWAYS carried some blubber round there... just an inch or so... despite the massive amount of cardio. Recently a guy in the gym remarked that I had an incredible physique but just needed to cut up a bit. We got talking and he said "So don't you take anything? Don't you know anythign about what to take" - and up until then I had never, ever taken any sports supplement/drug EVER (aside fromt he odd protein drink when training for a marathon). Since the enforced lay-ff the mid-riff bluber has thickened a little and it isn't shifting. I thought Ephs might just give me a helping hand... I've no desire to stay on them for any longer than necessary - and no desire to use any other products - I just wouldn't mind, once and for all, being able to shift this inch of subcutaneous blubber around my waist.

Have you thought about getting your diet checked over? You must have a pretty decent calorie intake to facilitate your active lifestyle. Your total cals may be about right, but you might find that your macro ratio's need tweaking or your timings need some work. Without your diet nailed toward a fat loss goal, using Eph and the likes are pretty futile. Head over to the diet forum and post up a typical daily diet with times. The guys/girls there will cast their eye over it for you.

Ahhhh.... This may be the crux of the matter then. I've never really paid masses of attention to my diet - and although I eat (generally) very healthily - White meat and Fish mostly, red meat infrequently, lots of fruit and fresh/frozen veg... virtually NEVER ready meals or take-aways - my diet is not "mapped out" or planned. Some days (well, often one or two days of the week I often go from 11am until 7pm without eating a thing - not because I'm not craving food - simply becuase I don''t get an opportunity to eat) - but the way I have figured it - if I was carrying the blubber and NOT eating, then clearly eating MORE isn't going to help? Or is it?! I'll take a trip over to the diet forum! Cheers!

Brilliant Thead & Posts PartyBoy. Credit to the site Ordered 2 lots of Ephedrine HCL 150 tabs from AstroNutrition & 2 tubs of 200g caffine tabs from another site, not turned up yet though. I'm just wondering about extra caffine i maybe taking in at work during the day. Would it be best to stop these for now. Usually 2 mugs of coffee and 1 mug of tea per day. How would i know when i become "tolerant" to one dose and to move upto 2 doses? - is it a case of when you start feeling "normal again?" how do i know whether i should start with the aspirin too or leave it out to start with? Looking forward to trying it. I should have done it last year. I cant believe i botherd buying Maximuscle Therobol. I got leaner the year before that with nothing Rodge

I wouldn't worry about coffee's etc. Unless you're already gobbling umpteen cups a day, I can't see it being an issue. If you're concerned at all, just switch to decaf. You'll probably not feel the 'wiredness' so much, or the appetite suppression is diminishing. At this time, increase dosage. I don't actively use Asp if I make the stack myself. If I use herbal, White willow is in it, so I take it. Take it or leave it imho Thermobol used to be a good product with solid ingredients, though this is going back a few years when Eph and eph equivalents were very widespread in 'Fat Burner' preparations.

Does eph affect your mental ability at all? I've got a lot of studying to do just now so need my brain to be working as well as possible - if so i'll just wait until the uni work is out the way before starting it. Thought it might counter the low carbs a bit.
All I need is a big gun and a coupe that's crazy quick...

Scott, the extent of 'buzz' is user dependant so not always apparent. The effect on heart rate is very common. Mine will typically rise 10-20 bpm over normal resting rate.

Yes. Drop to one dose per day - 7.30am (25mg eph + 200mg caffeine) If alls well after a few days, implement a second dose at 12.00 (25mg eph + 100mg caffeine). If you tolerate this ok, then look to move to 200mg caffeine.

Welcome to MT Losing bodyfat always carries the risk of muscle losses though you can minimise this risk by attempting to shed fat in a gradual, sensible way. Aim for a 1-1.5lb loss per week through diet/cardio/Eph and unless you are attempting to attain very low bodyfat levels (sub 10 or 11%), then muscle losses should not be a concern particularly.
