No, that is a typical marketing rip off by companies giving their supplements a very similar name to steroids or other performance enhancers. The pharmaceutical name is Clenbuterol. Not 'CLENbutical' or 'Clenbutryx' or any other soundalike. It is not available from supplement outlets - it is an illicit substance.

Ok, it looks like i'm going to have to go with the "homebrew" ECA Stack... but i have one question (someone else in the thread also asked but i didnt see a reply):

What is the diffrence between "Ephedra" and "Ephedrine HCL"?

and what does the HCL Stand for?

Thanks again!

Ephedra is the herbal equivalent of ephedrene mate. It`s standardised to 6% so 500mg ephedra will give you 30mg ephedrene.

Caffein anahydrous is the same as caffein to the best of my knowledge.
100% chemically enhanced...only trees grow naturally!

The aspirin will do nothing for you moobrien. It is added to act synergistically with the eph.

Can't see caffeine doing much really either in terms of fat loss or even as a diuretic unless your dosages were very high.

Please see the Clen 'sticky' in this forum. ECA is dosed as per contents of this thread.

alright i finally got all the pills today and this is the dosage of each

1-pill: Ephedrine HCL 25mg
..........Guaifenesin 200mg

1-pill: Caffeine 200mg

1-pill: Aspirin 325mg

Should i cut the asprin in 1/2 (162mg) or is the 325mg fine?

Is it the more Asprin the longer the effects of the E:C?

I'd half the asps mate

and

"to potentiate" to your second q, though evidence of the real significance of 'A' is sketchy.

I tend to run each dose around 45mins before food. This will curb the appetite and goes some way to avoiding over-eating.

On workout days, you can take one of your dosages 45mins prior for a stimulatory effect and aid to performance.

RE: ECA (Epedrine, Caffeine, Aspirin) - 09 June 2005 21:16
Welcome to MT Shaziya.

Firstly, Eph is not steroidal in nature. It is a central and sympathetic nervous system stimulant through its influence on norepinephrine release and subsequent stimulation of the alpha and beta receptors.

(Though a continually changing situation) it has been outlawed in the U.S (imo) due to over-zealous politicians wanting to appear "proactive" in the war against performance enhancing compounds. Their basis for the ban was founded upon a small quantity of deaths which were (rightly or wrongly) attributable to eph usage. What Joe Public isn't generally aware of is the majority of these individuals were already "at risk" due to existing medical conditions, or were placed in highly stressful situations (i.e. training for many hours in very humid conditions with inadequate hydration etc). Some people also believe there was increasing pressure placed upon the FDA by the pharmaceuticals who were "pissed" that their prescription weight loss pills such as Meridia, Xenical, Phentermine et al, were being bypassed by 'consumers' in favour of ephedrine. On this issue, I couldn't possibly comment

Eph in actual fact has a very good safety record in view of the massive usage it has gotten. Don't forget, all drugs have side effects and there will be unfavourable incidences with pretty much any drug. This must be placed in context however and not 'media hyped' as is the case with eph.

Providing you are in good general health with no underlying cardiac, hypertensive or CNS problems, I see no particular problem with responsible eph use.

imo, there is little point in using 1 day on, 1 off. Use everyday but I would limit to 12 weeks max.

Although female dosages tend to be lower, I do know of women who have used 3 dosages per day without issue. However, you must gauge your own sense of tolerance to the drug - if you are still very wired on 2 per day, do not increase at this time.

I would increase your pro-plus to 4 tabs per 1 eph (this will equate to 200mg caffeine per 20-30mg eph). Be aware though that this may affect sleep patterns so your final dosage may need to be taken earlier in the day.

I assume you've got your diet nailed? This area really is the difference between success and failure so it'd be a good idea to post up your diet in the diet forum with your goals for the experts to have a look at and advise.

Also, sit ups won't 'rid the stomach' unfortunately. Its a common misconception that sit ups 'tone' the stomach. You can't actually "spot reduce" fat deposits - it is lost from the body as a whole though usually the first place to store fat will be the last place it is lost. Of course increasing your activity level will help you towards your goal by increasing your calorie expenditure. This is normally acheived by increased levels of cardio.

just an FYI on the 3 doses per day you were told to take... i'm 24years and 225lbs... the MAX i take Everyday is 2 doses... for some reason even 2 doses give me "heart-burn"... and i've been on it for about 3 weeks now. I attempted to take 3 doses a few days ago... my heart-burn became so bad that i threw-up.

all i could think after that was... WHAT A WASTE OF A PERFECTLY GOOD DOSE! lol

There is absolutely no requirement to be in a state of ketosis whilst using eph. Lo-carbing I guess has its place and certain uses, but imo not ideal for 99% of us here.

Ultra low-carb = miserable, lethargic, lifeless, no desire to train/exercise.

Your body requires glycogen to function effectively. The best source for muscle fuel is carbs.

Eph comes is a wide variety of guises and markings. I've personally not come across 'K' to date though.

just because the cases are'nt "in the news" dosent mean people are not dieing from taking Eph... or pretty much any other drug.

can you die from overdosing on Asprin? yes... but you dont hear about the people dieing from it...

it's simple... READ THE DIRECTIONS... look at the warning and see if they apply to you. if not, then follow the recommended dosage in the directions.

when you have been using eph a bit longer you will be able to tell how good it is by letting it melt in mouth cos it so foul tasting. sometimes mine slightly melts on the way down and it rotten ha ha

partyboy, great article mate...just got a couple of questions....

I'm a bit confused on whether to take eph in the same way as clen, ie 1 tab on day 1 through to 7 on day 7 and throughout second week, or should I stay at the same dosage throughout my two weeks until I go back to Clen?

Lastly, what mg are eph tabs usually?, srry no label on the bottle or any way to distinguish what brand they are.

I have used the vasopro hcl with caffeine tabs and they were awsome far better than any other fat burning supp (thermogen xs, original xenadrine rfa-1, sida cordifolia etc), they hit me quicker and seem to feel 'cleaner'....i have had great results on them. You could always add some yohimbine HCL into the mix for added kick/effect if you arent seeing the results you want (assuming your nutrition & training are spot on.)

I certainly feel like they are working, i.e. i get that wired feeling and usually can't manage more than 2 a day but i don/t seem to be losing any weight when i take them. Are there any other ones that are better? I've heard the ones with a K on them are the best, whats the proper name for those?

i may be taking to much asprin... the smallest amount i could find per pill was 325mg... i usually take a full pill... and i think the more asprin is causing the effects of the Caffine and HCL to slow there process down. When i take a Caffine pill (200mg) by it's self, man i'm wired in about 15 minutes.

at first i attemped to cut the Asprin pills in half... never worked right. always busted the pills all to hell. thats why i just take the full 325mg pill now.
