PB or anyone else for that matter, Does anyone know what is the 'active lifespan', i.e. before of ephedera loses it effect on metabolism, and is it prolonged when using it alongside caffine? Cheers Surfer

Just started ECA today. Took one thermalean this morning. Feels weird but ok. when I was making breakfast my mother was asking me what that package in the mail from Canada was this morning (lol), she gets worried about me working out too hard, the last thing she would want to hear is ephedrine, caffeine and aspirin all in 1 tablet, she doesn’t understand nor want to understand, you know how it is! she would also moan at me about how it could effect my exams etc. so i just told her it was a new pickup for one of my guitars. as i was opening the tin of tuna my hands were shaking, it was quite funny trying to hide it lol. anyways, i'll see in an hour or 2 how it affects my workout. i normally do 45 mins on the bike after weights, working the level of hardness up every 5 minutes. i'll see if i can fit in a few thousand meters of rowing machine too. Normally an intensive 1000 meters will kill me, so I’ll see what happens! Let the super-fat burning begin!

how soon after doing a bulking cycle would you start eca? would it be ok during pct or would you need to wait until pct has finished?

I would wait 3 or 4 weeks to allow test levels to at least partially recover. Otherwise you'll have low test levels and a calorie deficit - Not ideal

ORIGINAL: Surferph34 http://astronutrition.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_1&products_id=7 Good Stuff Im running it at the moment and the weights definately dropping. Surfer just to let you guys know, i have ordered from this canadian company, the product came in 10 days, as estimated by the company. ignore the dosage instructions cos it says take one or two capsules with meals!! just listen to partyboy's instructions. If i have had any side effects i would say the "shakes" that people talk about feel similar to that of when i'm hung over lol! (without the headache/stomach aches) so it's not too bad. I think it makes me quite chatty after an hour or two but it's an ok feeling. Also it does suppress hunger a bit which is good but it's not overpowering that you cannot eat your meals. So overall so far i have had no problems and i'm quite happy with the limited side effects. hope this information is useful for other newbies to ECA

Welcome Dosages needn't alter for females. Might be best to work up to 3 dosages per day to assess tolerance. You may find that one or two doses per day is more than enough for a while. Don't neglect diet in all of this though, this is by far the most important factor in shedding fat.

hi there, completely new to this, is clen better than efs? i wanna loose weight, but im not a body builder, just i went down to around 10stone using efs, but they dont seem to touch me any more think the dosage is less now or summat. i have put a bit of weight back on and want to loose it again. i have heard 2 ppl on this site talk about clen. what is it, and what method is best for rapid, safe weight loss. i go to the qym too. One called LFW.

Yes, normal. Mine normally rises to about 80bpm resting from a non-eph use resting baseline of around 60bpm.

You will regain weight if you ingest more calories than your body needs for its everyday functions + exercise energy requirements. Therefore, keep calories under control and suitable for homeostasis, and you will not regain fat.

This is a generic Meridia (drug name Sibutramine Hydrachloride). This drug is an anti-depressant, though has decent appetite suppressant qualities. I do not think it is wise to use this sort of drug (a la prozac) for weight loss purposes. You can read more here: http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/sibutramine_wcp.htm

Another question for partyboy.
-
17 June 2006 15:06
thanx for the information party boy, the list of ingredients are as follows : ma huang 200mg : white willow bark 25mg : chromium picolinate 70mg : system x tm 50mg The recomended dose is one a day, which is what ive been taking, although yesterday I took 2. I do get most of the side effects u described but just deal with it, I weighed myself this morning and have shed about 8lbs thats since the beginning of last week, would u say there safe enough to be taking. Oh and I feel a bit dodgy getting behind the wheel. THANX

Does it say what the Ma Huang is standardised as? Also, there seems no caffeine? Is there not any Kola Nut or Guarana listed as an ingredient? Does it list what the "system x" contains?

just a quick couple of questions.currently on cut and using kaizen eph.now i was having a look and there seems to be a lot of scare mongering about their eph and apparently was related to a few deaths.furthermore, kaizen seem to no longer produce it.now, am i at any risk takin 30mg 3 times a day?i am sure i'm fine but just bothered me when i read it. i saw some things about dangers and people scaremongering earlier in the thread and that it is actually quite a safe drug if used correctly. last q.how did we arrive at the dosage of circa 30mg 3 times a day.is that due to any medical studies or purely from many a bb'ers experience?? cheers

ECA is amazingly well tolerated given the amount of users there are (or were before the FDA ban). Yes there have been deaths supposedly attributed to Eph, though in virtually every case there were other factors that were at least in some way part of the problem. 20-30mg per dose is pretty standard. There are human studies with a dose of 20/200 eph/caffeine.

Hi, Time to pick ure brains again....... Been away from the forum (and training) for too long! Originally I started on 50mg of E in the morning, and 50mg of E, 200mg of C and 150mg of A before training 7 days a week. I didnt really noticed any effect except a bit more energy. In the end I stopped that and had a break from training. I'm now 17st and bodyfat is approaching 30%. I have started up again on Stackers (NOT the multi-coloured fat burner) but a premixed ECA stack. These are strong - tho the bottle doesnt give quantities which is a bit worrying!! I take 2 pills in the morning and thats it, they really seem to work - I have more energy and train a lot harder and i have noticed my appitite being supressed to the point that i am happy on a sandwich a day. I know that this isnt really good from a metabolism point. My key aim is to loose weight but long term is that I want to be BIG! What do I do?? do i need to go back to 5 or 6 small structured meals a day? Training is a mix of cardio and weights. Your help is much appreciated. Also can someone assist re diet? Thanks for your help - its been much appreciated in the past - seeing as Im relatively new to all this!!

ORIGINAL: duzza77 My key aim is to loose weight but long term is that I want to be BIG! What do I do?? do i need to go back to 5 or 6 small structured meals a day? Yes, without a doubt. Going long periods without feedings will result in major catabolism and fat stores will be held. You need to adjust your diet to cutting mode sensibly and accept that whilst dieting some muscle will be lost. Please seek assistance in the diet forum for specific advice.

i just took my first eph tablet about an hour ago and am really surprised cos i'm hardly having any side effects at all! i had a mild tingly feeling for a few minutes and my neck feels a slightly weird stiff feeling but that's it. oh, the main thing was that after i ate my normal breakfast, it felt like i had eaten a 5 course meal so it's definitely working as an appetite suppressant. i just have a question about eph and anti-depressants. i know you shouldn't take eph if you're prone to mood disorders and i was reading on astro nutrition that it works on dopamine and norepinephrine. These are the same neurotransmitters that some anti-depressants work on (like serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors). Now, does eph work WITH SNRIs or against them? from what i've read they seem to do the same thing ie inhibit the re-uptake of the neurotransmitters? if so, then shouldn't they help with depression? anyone know? thanks.

dont know the science , but i guess if your depressed before you use eph when you stop taking it your gonna feel alot worse because its a feel good chemical (or you may end up addicted to it because it makes you feel less depressed)

I don't intend to take them for long - it was gonna be 8 weeks but i think i'll take them for 4 weeks, take a break from them and see how i feel. i know if i go on a downer i can pull myself up eventually either by myself or with an increased dose of medication. i don't think short term usage will effect me in the long term. or am i being stupid? hmmm. as for the side effects - i'm definitely feeling them now. all funny in the head and twitching

there's no evidence to suggest it would cos any long term damage. general advice is to take it for no longer than 8-12 weeks at a time then waiting at least a month before taking it again.

HI.. i'm new to this forum and dont really know a lot about supplements. I have been reading about ECA but i'm not too confident with it. I'v read many good posts saying that ECA is good and that it isn't very dangerous and that it doesnt have harsh side effects, but then i read other posts that state it is very dangerous with harsh side effects and that 13 people in the last 18 months have died from using it? So im confused and slightly nervous about using this. So could someone plz help clear a few questions up? THANKS. I'v got ephedrine and caffine. I aint gona bother with the asperin tho. 1) Is this stack bad for u in anyway? 2) i haven't got any medical issues like high blood pressure or heart problems. I'm healthy and play football and do alot of cardio just i need to lose a bit of my body fat and tone up. If i take a low enough dosage of it would this be fine? I've got 45mg tablets of ephedrine. Im gona start on one a day and increase to 2 a day should that be good and safe? 3) Would it damage my liver or anything in anyway? 4) Would i become dependent on it or anything? 5) or is it a steroid? 6) Would i need to take anything with it to support my liver like milk thistle or anything? 7) Do u need to cycle it? 8) Do u think i will see any bad side effects? 9) How long should i take it for? 10) My girlfriend is in the same position as me, would it be safe for her to take it? tHANKS A LOT...... Dave

For those of you who are suffering nasty sides from ECA using Chest-eze (I had very bad nausea), try switching to the herbal versions like Thermalean. Side effects have dissapeared for me after the switch. cheers
