RE: ECA (Epedrine, Caffeine, Aspirin) - 15 August 2006 15:29
Hey guys posted this in the wrong place first time round -

I have never tried this before but have read up a lot on it and think it will really benefit me.

I am one week into my 10 week cutting diet and I am having issues with appetite and energy levels.

I am planning to take the following 3 times a day; -

• 1 Do-Do ChestEze Tab
• 3 x Pro Plus (150mg)
• Half and aspirin

First of all do the amounts, ratio, seem correct?

Also what is the best way to spilt these doses through the day - On my current diet I am currently eating 5 times a day and train in the morning after breakfast.

Should I take the doses 30/45 minutes before training in the morning and then the same before 2 later meals?

Also I am currently taking BCAA tabs and CLA soft gels. I think the BCAA is fine to continue isn’t it? But is it ok to continue the CLA to aid the fat loss – only reason I ask is I know this does have effects on the metabolism?

I would be grateful for any information/opinions based on what I have said as I am hoping to begin this tomorrow!

Cheers guys,

Rich

Your plan ric looks fine. You may want to start on one dose per day though and build up when tolerance permits.

BCAA and CLA can be continued, though I don't rate either personally.

Alright guys, last run ECA about a year ago using Thermalean, had some OK results but diet could have been stricter. Just wondered what the most effective stack products on the market at the moment are?

Cheers,

Si

If you don't to make your own with the core components, I'd choose a ready made herbal equivalent such as Hydroxytrim

http://www.musclefinesse.com/weight-loss.asp

Either way, you need a stack with either eph or the herbal equivalent in it

PatyBoy and co:

Ive got 4 months supply of eca (Thermalean) and was wondering the best way to use it in terms of time on/time off.

Should I use it for 4 month straight. or should i use it for a month, then a month off and repaet. Or 2 month on then 2 month off followed by 2 month on? etc etc

Cheers

Use it until desired results are achieved. I would limit continuous use to around 12 weeks

Hey guys... Just a quick recommendation about thermalean, ive been using it for 6 days now and find it much better than doing my own ECA stack.

have no bad side effects, maybe a little dry mouth and a little bit shakey but nothin i cant handle... some days when i'd taken eca and pushed myself to much doing exercise i'd end up in bed and felt so ill.

Made up with this product and its good for keeping me awake on my long night flights at work!

PB once I finish my PCT im going to start my ECA Thermalean.

I used it before with great success and found that the maximum I could handle was three a day. Four was uncomfortable.

I was wodnering as I know my limit do I have to increase the dose gradually as I did when I started off, say on every three days, or can you jump to your indiviadual max, or will this be too much to deal with in one go?

Thanks

hi there, i have just started the EC without the A stack and ive noticed that im much more forgetful than usual and ive checked google and it says memory loss is a side effect. I feel fine in myself apart from the 1st day i was a bit shakey. I started on half of 45mg ephedrine HCL in the morning and another half at about 5pm with 1 cup of coffee. Is this the right dosage for weight loss? id be grateful for any help. many thanks

Welcome to the board

just do me a favour and give your CAPS LOCK key a little tap for me

If it were me buying I'd go for a herbal such as Hydroxytrim:

PB and Co...

Ive been on ECA for 4 weeks now, good results, and no sides to speak of really. However, the last few days ive had a bit of a tight chest, mainly when I tense or strain. Is this due to the ECA do you think or maybe just a pulled muscle? Also been a little short of breath when I first wake up the last few mornings. Im fine once i get in the ggym though.

I'm on the last day of my 4 week supply, was planning on doing 8 weeks then 8 weeks off, but do you think I should finish today then have 4 weeks off then 4 weeks on again?

Cheers guys

Partyboy, I'm just coming to the end of the Thermalean I bought from astro.. I found it really helpful, would you recommend sticking with something you like or trying something else new? I find that when i first started taking ECA and Thermalean I got the best results at the beginning so just wondered your thoughts.

Thanks x

Never heard of this in relation to ECA, though I think its prudent to discontinue until the symptoms subside. If when you re-try the symptoms re-appear, it would seem you have found the culprit

Stay with the same imo. Have a break of at least 8 weeks and you should then encounter the same stimulus as before upon re-commencement.

50mg Caffeine is low. You need to ingest around 200-250mg per serving

These cost 50% more than ephedrine, so am I best getting these and some pro-plus / just ephedrine and pro plus?

Hey all,

Bin using the ECA stack for 1 month now,, Monday will be my 1st Day off... I'v lost about 1 stone... It was that bit that i just cudnt seem to get rid of, but now its gone,, since iv bin on ECA I'v learnt how to eat properly because I'v not bin as hungry,, so rather than grabing a quick fix,, I will cook a jacket pot,,, bit of cottage cheese n beans or whateva... but most of all now i am into a routine! I'm hopeing that my training and routine wont go to pot once i'm off the stack,, I'm rearing to keep going! may go back on them after I'v had a month or 2 off. I'm coming off so my body doesnt get used to the ephdrine. The whole shock factor I believe helps the most.

Hope ur all having great sucess

Singing Lad

P.S

Thanks Party Boy,, wud neva of done it without ur post!

You're very welcome, sounds like you've had a result there

Cons, different to predict results but your plan sounds like you're along the right lines. Just ensure you have your diet nailed.

I wouldn't say its dizzyness particularly, more commonly a 'wired' feeling, perhaps to the extent you may find yourself a little 'jumpy'

Thanks for the link partyboy, i see you know you're stuff! Wondered if 60mg was too much to take at once that was all as each tab contains 60mg of eph hcl. I was going to take it twice daily so that would be 120mg, toomuch?

I notice you're female so I would stick to 30mg per dose tbh. I would also only start off with 1 dose per day (30-45mins prior to breakfast) to assess tolerance.

hi. . im looking to use ECA stack to help shift the last few stubborn pounds an the couple ive added over the xmas period and just have a few questions. .

1) im looking to order the ECA stack from www.astronutrition.com and was just wondering which one people would recommend..

2) reading up on it. . it recommends takin 1 serving b4 breakfast then one b4 training. . but i train about 3/4 hours after breakfast so should i b taking a second serving so soon after the first??

3) i also drink about 3 cups of green tea a day and one strong black coffee in the morning and was wondering whether i wud av to stop this due to the high amounts of caffeine present in an ECA stack??

sorry if any of these questions have been asked/answered b4 but had a skim over this post on ECA and cudnt c them
thanx in advance or any replies. .

In short, no.

Although, that does'nt mean to keep using ECA all the time.

The more you use it the more tolerant to it you may become.

Ive just got some 8mg Ephs from astro nutrition. should i go straight in and take 2/3 at a time or start off slow building up to 24 mg/s per dose?

Or should that be 24 per day rather than per dose?

then taking 2 twice a day for the next 5 and if i feel i can take more jump up to 3 twice daily

the full phase should last about 11 weeks i think.. can i take any other supplements while on Hydroxy? i.e planning taking Taurine maybe and even some non stim Sesamin?
