Essential extra's/supplements

Hi guy's, I'm sure this question has been asked loads before but I've been scrolling through old threads and can't find any info so apologies in advance if you've heard it before. I'm going to start a 3 month cycle next month on test e and deca (probably) and was wondering what your essential supplements advice would be whilst on a course and immediately after? I'm currently taking whey protein morning and post workout, l-glutamine x 3 per day, multi-vit x2 and zma pre bed. I'm 31, 6ft, 85kg and have been training off and on for 11 years and I'm in pretty good shape. I don't want to get massive, just looking to increase strength and lean muscle, an increase in muscle mass and decrease in body fat would be great. Thanks in advance

Make sure your diet is nailed. Protien shake when you wake up with meals spread throughout the day. Suppliment wise if your bulking you should get most of what you need through food perhaps creatine would be all I take but that's in the pre workout shake I take anyway so I don't buy it separate, for cutting then i take multi vits and the like. I personally keep it simple, you can spend a awful lot of cash on this that and the other and other than being lighter in the pocket there are no sups that really make me feel any different. That n.o.-explode double shot makes me buzz my tits off in the gym it's awsome lol! Minger

Thanks a lot for the advice mate. My diet is pretty good and will improve even more once I increase the intensity when on the cycle. What are your thoughts on taking BCAA's, glucosamine, fish oils, multi-vits, etc. Where possible I try to receive as many nutrients as possible through my diet but as I'll be training/pushing harder, I wonder if a good diet is enough? What brands/types would you recommend?

Other than the protien shakes, which I mix with instant oats twice a day the only other thing I take is milk thistle while on cycle.
