Exciting Architecture...

I know there are a few people on here, who like me are interested in architecture. I just thought I'd post something about a pier that has been proposed off St Pete's Florida Coast to replace the present one. The design was beautiful but they have capped the funding at $50 million - can you put a price on innovative and truly inspirational design? It looks like almost all of the features that made it special will not be built. interesting design although i think you can only really see how exciting architecture can be once real people are aloud to interact with it

i love looking at complex peices of architechtural design, and especially looking at how they achieved it structually.
even places like airport terminals can be fascinating looking at them from that perspective!

no, but just googled it. interesting building, i bet its cool when your inside it and moving about and can see the repeated shapes
