    replace milk with soya milk

    - more fish
    - more veg
    - rice crackers

1 tsp peanut butter and pumperknill bread

    20-30 mins of intense cardio
    7min jog/run + 3min rest walk - then repeat.

Will I lose muscle doing that tho? Im currently 89kg and have a bit of muscle mass but not too much definition. Im hoping it will show through with the fat stripped off me. How often do you do cardio? Everyday?

If we focus on loosing fat, we will loose some muscle too..

What you got to do though is try and keep protein as high as possible to reduce this muscle loss... Lots of chicken and fish - small protein sources.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT MUSCLE LOSS FOR NOW. Just imagine loosing all that fat. Once the fat is gone we start bulking again nice and clean with the same diet of chicken and tuna but with brown pasta and rice and some potatoes in the later on weeks.

Your body has something called muscle memory. When you build muscles you build new cells...their nucleus is possibly still present in your stripped body.

When you build muscle you dont build new cells, muscle cells dont divide. Exercise means muscle cells get bigger rather than increase in number.

So to prevent loosing muscle I should just keep protein as high as possible, bother with shakes or just eat lots of fish and chicken/turkey?

    ORIGINAL: Griff87

    Example day

9.00am Weatabix in the morn 6 pieces semi skimmed milk

11am - have something here. How about cutting down on the 6 Weetabix at 9am (maybe 3?) and then have something here as a snack.

1.00pm Tuna or bacon salad (lettice, tomatoes, peppers, etc)
Watch the bacon, can be high in fat/cals. How about swapping it about with smoked salmon / smoked trout / mackerel / sardines etc. Get the oily fish in there!

    3pm Why nothing here?

    6.00 Chicken and veg

    Snack on nuts and fruit
Good stuff, but keep an eye on the nuts. Nuts are are a great provider of good fats yes, but they are also high in calories so watch portion control.

What can I add to this? I plan to get on the cardio as well
(running, cycling and rowing being the main 3)

    Advice wanted

Good stuff redhotF thats exactly what I needed, the bacon has all its fat cut off it, but I'll try and have tuna tomorrow instead. Whenever im hungry I just have a can of tuna.

I have done a low carb low fat diet before and it worked wonders just have to get back into it as I have been bulking lately (of the all you can eat type of bulk)
