Get off that bike and put up with the pain on the treadmill ....seriously the recumbant bike should be the last thing you think if for cardio and only of you're dying on your feet as it's just not intense enough!! You know you can do it, believe in yourself, push yourself, talk to yourself and do it.  I'd like to see you being able to do an hour on the stepper pretty soon so work on increasing that! So come on you....................get it on

Nice one on the comments, gives a good boost so suck on them whilst you can

No good to me if she aint gonna kick my butt, and it does need kicking... occasionally

Mmm, mixed couple of days. Sure I'm due hormones are elevated and that combined with feeling tired; new routine, dark mornings again, ****ty weather. S'all making it hard at mo, but it'll be lighter in an am after Easter and I'll be getting more into the swing of things and I can catch up on a bit more sleep and think about schedule moving forward a bit.
I even baked 4 days worth of suppers, oaty/ pancake/ omellette and froze them so they're 2 mins in micro each night, only saves 5 mins, but psycologically helps.
20 mins is still my limit on stairmaster but will increase this by a minute each WO after easter to get to that elusive hour kitty's demanding, but my form was going last night and I don't wana slip or put back out!
I did make it onto treadmill tho, but was 'one of those women' holding on *bleurghhh*! s'only way I'm not in agony with stitch, but did have 8% incline on to make up for that.
Leg weights same as last week, no increase, legs are tired with twice daily activity and squat rack was busy so lunges were last, last night, GGggggRRRrrr.

          OMYGOD!!!!!!!!
You have to try kitty's cabbage with onion or cabbage+leak mix with dash garlic grinder & dash nutmeg, MMMMMMMmmmmNomNomNom!!! I do have to take my meals in kitchen with that tho!

Was grumpy this am having had wet, cold, dark walk, but feeling a bit better now, maybe hormones are settling.
          xx

Glad you're taking it in your stride Fi, was beginning to think I'd scared you off yesterday . If you are finding the going on the treadmill hard just work to the heart rate I recommended until your fitness levels improve. Also on the stepper, try splitting it up, and maybe even mixing it with the treadmill so for example in the 40min workout do 10 stepper/10treadmill and repeat.

The cabbage mix is certainly gorgeous, glad you like it!!

If you're into batch cooking you could also make a load of chicken/turkey mince burger....mince the meat up yourself in a processor and mix with finely chopped onion/mushroom/garlic and form into burgers. If you weigh everything you will be able to work out how big each burger needs to be for your portion and then stick in the freezer. You can then even make your own relish with finely chopped tomatoes (get some sweet cherry ones or similar), onions, garlic and chilli (optional), add a little white balsamic vinegar and other seasoning to taste. Very useful in the summer for BBQs

No, I'm still here, sucking it up!
So after I started to feel better I then slid again on the way home?!
Was just exhausted, power napped on train, but felt like I could've slept for a week! Was a bit teary on walk back to car, thought I'd just go to bed, as I obviously needed to, but annoyed with being away next week, only had to get these two days perfect before ticking over whilst away.
Anyhoo, emailed photos to hazel had my coffee then headed to gym, knew I'd be REALLY pissed off if I didn't go, more so than dealing with the double exhaustion tomorrow!
Did 20 stairmaster, 15 dreadmill (1st 10 at 10% incline and 6km/p/hr then 7.5 inc. and 5.5km/p/hr for 5mins) then another 10 on stairmaster and then same routine back on dreadmill.
Felt soOo much better! Got chatting to lovely lady on dread who was asking what I was doing as she'd noticed me on the stairmaster so much!
Had a craving for chips with tom sauce tonight, which is weird, cos not something I'd normally eat?!
Off to bedibies, lets hope it's dry in the am!?
1 more day a work b4 a week off, woohoo!
                    xx

Oh I sense the monthlies are due sounds just like me when mine are round the corner!!

Hey well done on the CV, that's good going especially when you felt like you did. You have to tell yourself how good you will feel if you go and how crap you'll feel if you don't and the weight loss doesnt happen and then it all spirals down. If you don't lose weight but you've done everything by the book then you know there's nothing more you could have done. I always tell myself to go for 10mins and if I'm not in the mood after that then just to come home, I've never yet left and ended up at times that I've had some of the best workouts ever!!

Have a good one tomorrow x

                                        EEEeeKKKkkk!

I am VERY glad this week's over!
S'bin really hard but I know welshy's suffered too and generally at work people have felt tired and like it's a struggle, so I don't think it's me feeling over trained or owt, phew!
Monthlies arrived this am, phew! (no, not 'that', just nice to have hormones start to level etc.!) BUT that does mean that I should now be on for the centrals, gggrrrr! My back REALLY aches each month without all that posing, got some diclofec I'll keep a hold of + any other painkillers I can mix n match on the day!

Didn't make gym last night realised I needed a LOT more preparation if I'm going to survive the next week, and sticking to the diet for a whole week was worth sacrificing one WO? Sis is gonn have a fit when she sees how much stuff I've brought! Got all my egg whites for breakiis, LOTS of chkn & rice, emergency bars+shakes (the low carb freebies from seminar) workout gear and of course clothes etc. or a week! But I feel stong, TOTALLY different from Harrogate! And discovered sis has an excercise bike, yes kitty absolutely ONLY pissing down emergency cardio only, but good that I do have, pissing down emergency cardio?! really hope it's dry I'm looking forward to some nice morning walks in Bramhall park, got some great inclines & everything, great little circuit for me to do a couple of times make up an hour. Hehe, plus got quite a few caffine shot things, they were giving them away in town last week, and I thought, ooo, I'll have some of them for making up for lack of espresso pre WO whilst I'm away!

OK better get this show on the road eh!?
                                        xx

                                        Ps. lost 1lb this week
