Hey Fi *hugs* I know how you feel, I've been there before sooo many times. You're working your ass off iin the gym and being a total saint with the food and when you can't see any progress down in black and white it does make you wonder why you're bothering. BUT I can see a difference in you, so noticed it at Monster Gym so even if the scales and tape don't tell you the full story, trust what you're seeing in the mirror. Why don't you take some more pics and compare them side by side - I bet you'll see some progress then Keep going and keep kicking ass .. RAAAAAAAAAAH it up lady !

Good cardio sesh this morning: 10 tread 2.5%inc with 6kg DB's (up from 4kg), 20min stairmaster with 4kg DB's - hated every second this morning! But still did it! and 10min treadwlker thingy - a treadmill with individual treads which have vertical movement to make it like wlkaing in sand. Was gonna do 20 but was hard on butt after stairmaster! Had done my 40mins tho. Diet spot on, ratatouille taken outov freezer for tonight for with breast from rost chkn Sun and 100g brown rice (frozen portion from batch cook, ready to blast in micro) New agent coming round tonight to take photos of house. Gonna go with who's selling house we're buting as should gee them into action a bit more to crack two sales. After having to console me/ walk on eggshells most of the w/e, Mark had got me new headphones last night to cheer me up, pink skull kandi ones, VERY cute! I like being spoilt! xx

Had a good back+chest sesh yesterday and spinning last night. I was a bit hyper in class so LOTS of whooping and singing, GREAT fun! Had dinner at gym with girls, but took a beef sarnie with me, wanted to know exactly what I was eating rather than worrying about not enough protein in salad and not knowing the weight of the carb portion. Cardio this morning, managed 3 miles running on the treadmill again! Walk 0.5km, run 1.6km (at 8km/p/hr) x 3 REALLY enjoyed it, I can totally zone out running on treadmill, although I must concentrate on my core to protect my back. Felt loads slimmer after! xx

Arms & shoulders today. Was enjoying pump in shoulders but then someone was on assisted dip machine, so threw me and 4got to do tabita sprints! Had a boost at work today tho. Our advisor, who goes out on appointments, hadn't seen me for a while as he's out n about, and he asked had I lost weight, syas you can really notice a change. So feeling quite motivated at mo Noticed the other week that I now have calf muscles which is exciting! And noticed the other day that I now have 'ikkle pecs peeeking thru! I noticed it flex the other day, now I do it in the mirror everytime I go to loo at work, lol!!!.............Which is quite a bit as I drink 4L water a day! xx

Try keeping off the scales for a few weeks... I know it's hard, I jump on the scales a few times a week just to be nosey but I think it's clear to see the scales really aren't telling you the fully story and they're ****** with your head. I KNOW you've made changes, I could see that and clearly other people can see it too ... all the scales are managing to do at the moment is upset you when you're doing soo soo well. *huggles* xx

Hey Fi! Sorry I keep meaning to play catch up in here then for get again so I've just gone through you last couple of pages. Sounds like you are having a bit of a bugger of a time. I think there could be a bit of a problem with the amount of meals - this could lead to more room for error UNLESS you do weigh absolutely everything which with your OCD I'm think you may be doing anyway. I think I can safely speak for all of us when I say that losing weight properly is really hard but it is doable.

Thanx guys. I know a girlfriend at gym said if it was only the scales and body weight I was bothered about I could go back to slimming world, as I did do really well there couple of years ago. But that's not what I want eh. I do hear what you're saying Welshy but everyone on here competing weighs weekly and if it's not woking something needs tweeking? And I've only started that this week as I CANNOT go another month without a pound loss, s'just not right, esp not at the weight I am with the amount of body fat I have to lose. Hi Tan, you have had a few things on, I knew you were busy! Yeh, I do weigh everything, but not quite veg like caz.... yet! Have swapped afo hummous for more cottage cheese with high fibre crisp bread+tsp EVOO, slightly less carbs saves me 70 cals. Plus having my oily fish dinners on cardio days when I'm minus the post weights WO shake so cals even out a bit more. So I'm defo at 1700 cals but under rather than over. See what this brings for the week, although I'm not gonna hold my breath. xx

Have been up and down so far this week. Quite down monday just going thru the motions, managed carb free dinner just veggies and 150g chicken (cooked weight) Legs am spin pm Up a bit Tues. 3 mile run am. Had Chriopratic appointment last night and car died! Luckily as I rolled into the car park of the clinic! So had my appointment then called rescue service! The coil had melted, gives the spark to the spark plugs? Emailed the chap who did my service, just called to see when he can do, and he's at house chatting to Mark and car's fixed! Chriopractor went well. Thinks it all bad/ glute tightness/ pain stems from neck! I clench my jaw asleep. And that tightens muscles and knocks ligaments out so jaw clicks. 10% of population are with me and there's nothing to fix it. Chrio reckons left hip flexor is weak cos signal not getting down spine cos of neck prob and then cos of weak hip flexor the left glute and wotsit band muscle are overworked/ tight. Makes sense. So if we sort jaw and keep rest ticking over with some decent massage should sort. And Bupa policy may be able to pick up the bill! Had veggies and an 80g pack of beef with a bit of homemade hummus 4 T last night, was starving when got home! But whilst hummous was carbs I hadn't planned don't feel bad a bout it/ them. Had morning off gym, to let body recover. Felt a lot slimmer this morning, two girls in the office commented also. Seems like my body's really responding to the exchnage of carbs for fat. Hopefully the scales will be kinder on Sat. xx

Come on you, you know you can do it. Don't just go off scales, use tape measures, see how clothing is fitting, look in the mirror, use photos etc etc. If others are commenting then it's obviously working.

Fi, I'm the last person to tell you not to keep jumping on the scales. What I see annoys the hell out of me at times but I also laugh about it as I know if it goes up one day it ain't going to be fat so I make sure I judge more from the mirror.

I've had posting issues, seemingly to do with firefox?! Am now in via explorer?! So on Thurs I was going to post: OMYGOD!!! Just found some photos from 2 years ago when I was at my heaviest 13st 7lb!!!! Will show you at the end of this 12 or 16 weeks. DEFO good insipartion tho! Can hardly belive it's me and that I let it get quite so bad I must take myself to task and look at those if I find myself feeling down, and realise just how far I've come and what I have achived already Just in the back of my mind is how much farther forward I would be if I hadn't let it slip in the first place!?! xx Today I'm at: What the *#~x I suppose a 1lb is better than nothing, but I really, truely was soOo good this week! Thought my tummy looked loooooods smaller, 2 people at work commented this week!4 or something silly! *#~x, *#~x, *#~x, *#~x!!!!! BUT I'll still do it all again next week! Slimming world is in the back of my mind, just to get some bloddy weight off. But don't want to sacrifice my bulk earlier this year. *#~x, *#~x, *#~x, *#~x!!!!! Sorry everyone, hopefully a more positive post soon. xx
