Reborn Open Range - Kevin Costner and Robert Duvall. Its a western with a familiar story but I thought it was excellent. This.

12 Jump Street I thought was pretty good. Hunger Games I enjoyed though seems just a rip off of Battle Royale, see what the sequels do for it. Looking forward to Cabin In The Woods, Lock Out seems fun.

Went to see Cabin in the Woods last week. Not bad but not quite as snappy and intelligent as i'd expect from joss whedon. The humour is there tho and it passed a few hours. I'd say tho no need to see it in 3D as there isnt much there.

recent films i've seen the grey - 7.5/10 - i liked this a lot, original, suspensful, frightening, good acting etc. it didn't end like i expected/wanted but was good nontheless. ghost protocol (M.I.4) - 6.5/10 - exactly what you would expect from an M.I film, good stunts, great gadgets etc, bit of decent humor from Simon Pegg. A good action flick - nothing more. Watchmen (i know its old lol) - 8.5/10 - why i didn't see this when it first came out i don't know, maybe the length (3+hrs) put me off? anyway, its awesome. a must see. Faster - 6/10 - average action flick, good plot twist. drive - 6.5/10 - critically acclaimed - don't know why, good acting i suppose but i was bored stiff in parts. some shocking violence saved it from being a snoozefest. IMO the girl with a dragon tattoo - remake - 8/10 - great story, great script and acting - a must see (oh, its better than the original too) can't wait to see The Avengers in a week or so, its getting brilliant reviews

you liked watchmen? i thought it was pretty much awful when there was dialogue rather than mindless violence.

Cabin In The Woods, you actually need to be a BIG horror fan to get ALL the references in this film, even if you dont its still a very good twist on the horror genre. Just don't read anything about it to do with the plot etc, would ruin it if you plan on watching it.

Thought cabin in the woods was dog **** . Primarily for the reason of why things happen . That will make sense to anyone who's seen it . Liked hunger games , true to the book I hear Attack the block . Much better than I expected
