First cycle advice on m1t..now hdrol. UPDATE - 28 October 2009 01:21 ( #1 )
Hi all, i plan very soon on starting a cycle using m1t. I know about takeing milk thistle pct but what else do i need and were from to block poss gyno e.t.c ? bargain sups (were ill be buying m1t from) recomend Novedex XT....is this good enough?
any advice would be appreciated

is this your 1st cycle?

not only is novedex xt not enough for a pct of m1t (as its basically just atd) but as a 1st cycle to go to something as potent and toxic as m1t is like trying to run before you can walk

i'd start off on something simpler like Hdrol, protodrol, or bold, or epi

Thanks for the reply mate. Yes this will be my first ever cycle, i take it, its a definate no no for m1t then! hmmm can you point me in the right direction as to were and what i should buy for a 1st then? pct e.t.c

I use BBingwarehouse and Pred Nut regularly

a typical beginners cycle is epistane at 30mg or h-drol at 75mg.  Either one for 5-6 weeks is fine.

In terms of PCT, I would try to source a SERM if possible.  Failing this there are many OTC PCT products that may suffice

I'd like other opinions on this but at your weight, 50mg at 4 weeks might not be enough

many users who are lighter say that 75mg is the sweet spot and run their cycle for 5 weeks... even 6 if they wanna push it

Hdrol takes a little time to kick in to. the 1st week or 2 your weight will go up because of increased glycogen storage and then it really kicks. awesome PH but expensive because you'd need 2 bottles

Do you have any supps for blood pressure?

2 weeks preloading of Hawthorn berry is recommended as BP can elevate on Hdrol

Hdrol's a great choice for a first cycle - well done on getting your research done before you jumped! :)

You WILL see noticable gains from a cycle of Hdrol - cycle lengths of 5-8 weeks at 50mg to 75mg (2 to 3 caps) per day will help with lean muscle gains, and very noticable boosts in strength.

Feel free to increase your protein whilst on cycle - your protein synthesis is higher, so whereas normally 1g per lb of bodyweight would be enough, you'll actually notice extra benefits from increasing this to 1.5g's per lb imo.

Imo, 50mg's per day is fine - when I used Hdrol I went to 75mg's over 6 weeks based on the advice of other who've used it, but there's plenty of logs out there from guys using lower (i.e. 50mg) doses and still seeing great results.

If it's your first cycle, I don't think you need to increase the dose beyond 50mg, but you'll undoubtably see slightly stronger results with relatively little downside from taking it to 75mg a day.

Good choice, I'm currently running Hdrol @ 75mg, only on day 4 so nothing to report as yet.

I also use milk thistle, hawthorne berries (holland and Barret sell fairly cheap). Get a decent multi vit, plenty of essential fatty acids and fish oils etc.

Will you be running a log?

Current big lifts:

Bench Press - 120kg 4 reps
Deadlift - 240kg 3 reps
Squat (ass to grass) - 145kg 5 reps
Leg Press - 500kg 20 reps

Body weight: 16 stone 4lbs

Cheers for that. i think ill definatly keep it to 50mg on 4 weeks and see how i get on. Already got multi vit and omega 3s so just need to pop to h+b and get some hawthorne berries :)

I think you're better off running the cycle as you suggest mate. Should yeild some good results.

Everything at H&B is currently buy one, get one half price, so you should save a few quid.

Nice one on keeping a log as well, will be interesting to see.

I moved quickly from 50mg HDROL, my sweet spot really was 75mg spread out evenly through the day, i only did 4 weeks and gained and kept just over 5kg of lean mass.
