i will believe it when i see it! if it happens it will be very interesting to see his lap times compared to the other ferrari. at a guess i would say he has still been driving f1 cars regularly, he is heavily involved at ferrari and does alot with them, cant see for the life of me he hasnt also been driving the cars when hes helping them work on them

He's bound to have been. Highly unlikely that they would give him a drive with only a few weeks to have driven the car after years out of it.

They are pulling out because bmw dont want to be seen to have done something for a few years, and not done very well. hardly going to help sell cars is it. . . lol

Typical, im reading now one of the organisations (dont think its FIA themselves), are saying that Schumacher cannot come back to race. Oh and I think Renault have been banned from teh next race because they might have known the wheel was not secure before the race started.

He'll probably have some of the longest partices sessions when they get started. Fair play to the others tho, Red Bull were given flackover that new guy getting a drive with no testing but then they want Schumy to be able to test before he drives. Looks like Piquet's gone too BTW. Not painting a pretty picture of Briotor at all

Its fair in the sence that its the same law for everyone else.

Agree, mate, crap rule but if it's a rule then it has to apply to all... ... it's not like schumy has never driven it tho really and I suspect he'll take to it pretty quickly

Michael Schumacher is no longer due to run as he claims a neck injury from a bike crash is still to painful to withstand the g force of F1... Pu55y or scared of being beat badly?.... I reckon he's tested and realised he isnt on the pace anymore... Rememer that Alonso handed his ar5e to him for the last years of his career anyway... Back in 10 days...

Schumacher suffered "fractures in the area of head and neck" in the accident in February. And the German driver admitted that he had been left disappointed by the fact he will now not be able to race. such a pus5y... he should race on regardless! lets see more racers killed eh?!!

Yea, hardly a Pussy, you can bet he probly tried every backhanded trick to get him into that car...drivers like Shuey dont loose their pace in such a short time, only the cars do. Such a shame...would have really been a dream this season.

Any of you play GPRO? For those that don't it's a free online F1 management game, there's a new season starting soon if you're interested. http://www.gpro.se/ For those that do, any tips?

Agreed, the season could unfold very well the way things are going. A few races ago i thought it Buttons year, game over... I still think he will win but not as convincingly as i first thought. I feel for Vettel, he has to finish the season on 2 engines or incurr a 10 place penalty... Rules him out of the championship imo, pity.

Lol at the qualifying today. Hamilton took a p1ss poor show like a man (im still not a fan), the usual excuses and misery are pouring from Button again. He totally had his ar5e handed to him buy Barrichello and had no reason for being this way... Cant wait till the start tomorrow. Button, Hamilton and Alonso all in close proximity... Edit.. Im completely lost regarding Force India and Fishichella... haha. This season really has been a total surprise!

I think the timing equipment is broken again, it seems to have reversed the results by mistake. Anyway, fuel corrected, Vettel looks good for the race, Fisichella is running fairly light.

Briatore chief principle of the Renault Team resigned today under allegations he told Piquet Junior to put his car into teh wall at last years Singapore race to make the Saftey car come out handing the lead to Alonso. Piquet let it all out after he was dropped from the team. Sorry working from memory, the HAmmer Gun Nail in the coffin is Renault arnt contesting this, they got nothing to come back with.

fook me! thats so unbelievable, you know its true! they deserve a huge penalty for that, if not kicking out of the season. they should lose the money they got from the constructors championship as well ive never liked briatore from the way he is on the grid about the sport and bernie

I dont think the whole team should be punished as a result of the managements actions. If it was Briatorie and Symonds they should be banned from being invovled in any motor-racing that falls under the umbrella of the FIA. If Renault are punished severly they might leave F1.

I find it hard to believe in a tight knit team like this that no one knew, like what about the thousands of data loggeed from the car, all of that, team radio is open now too, no private chats really, all of it handily not about when the digging starts, they have to be kicked out to set the example. And some kinda pretense that Alonso knew nothing about it, my ass. They knowingly put lives at risk on such a in-escapable circut, their where cars directly behind him as he came out of that corner.

Shame, I liked Pat Symonds. Never liked Flava Flavia, though. Piquet really screwed them after he was dumped! It seems like the team will get a relatively wasy ride because those two jumped ship. My guess is that they will lose all their team points this season like McLaren did.

I read yesterday that Lotus are back in too... I think thats 12-13 teams now isnt it? Ruling out BMW...? I read that BMW are now on standby as the grid is at full capacity for the current rules/agenda. They have said they may increase this though if BMW or that team return. It should be good with more cars in the race, more overtaking and will show driver error more when lapping etc. I never liked Briatore so wont miss him at all. I hope Alonso isnt penalised for this though, harldy his fault is it.

Lotus are in - great BMW have a buyer - so all good there Renault - well, what's to say. I read the transcript and PS was guilty as fcuk LOL. They tried to cover their tracks well, what with threatening the Piquets with legal action etc. Annoyingly the 2 of them probably got a hefty 'piss off and say nothing' payment from Renault. They need serious punishment tho, the potential for serious consequences of intentionally crashing warrent major punishment IMHO. And to show the fans that this stuff is taken seriously

who cares if renault leave. there are plenty of teams, and more coming in now that f1 is getting slightly cheaper to compete in with the rule changes. in fact i really think renault leaving would be a good thing, its them and viatore (even though hes now gone) that always seemed to be causing trouble or stamping their feet with threats about not getting what they wanted. in fact i think they should get a years ban from the sport for such a dangerous stunt, that could have cost lives and done huge damage. Let other people take their space on what will be a full grid next year.
