Russ_Turner Cardifflad So basically this season has already shown that F1 is a battle between who can make the best car and tha tall the drivers are basically around the same skill levels. Worst sport (and I use the term loosely) in the world!!!!! ;) Alot of people struggle to understand motorsport because there are so many aspects to it where as football for example is very easy to understand. Two teams, win lose or draw. Very true mate. I don't understand or maybe even appreciate the work that goes on behind the scenes so shouldn't really comment. Cheers

Is Monaco maybe masking some of the McLaren's faults? This could be Lewis' best chance of a win.

He was 3rd quickest in first practice and 2nd in second practice. Ferrari were quick too. Their bad high speed performance doesn't seem much of a problem here. Might be an interesting weekend.

I didnt get to see any of the qualifying this weekend or the race... I just cannot take to Monaco. The race is there just on past history and for the sponsorship/revenue it generates being the most 'prestigious' race on the circuit. It seems even with the new car parameters, overtaking is simply not an option. Its good see the interesting back grounds, yacts, marinas etc but the race itself is very boring imo.

wow qualifying was close! vettel was flying, barichello had a great final lap on Q3 as well, shame he couldnt squeeze it ahead of button, it must be frustrating for him. Wonder if redbull ran a light fuel load in order to snatch pole?

6kg in it, so they arent that light, but then the difference in qualifying times was tiny, so it looks like the cars are pretty well matched. My money would still be on the brawn cars though, they seem to have better race pace and consistency, especially button who is very smooth

barrichello provided some great entertainment! I enjoyed the race, but then im a button fan so i would. Just like schumacher fans used to enjoy his victorys. There was some good midfield action as well

the redbulls have had a chance of winning in the last 3-4 races at least, they just havent quite managed it with strategies. nice to see barichello getting the run on button, ive felt sorry for him for some of this season, just hope he gets a good start, hes not a great starter, so my money is on it being a Redbull 1 and 2 into the first corner. button will finish higher than his grid position, id be very suprised if he doesnt make podium, the toyota wont have race pace.
