cu3ed Im glad you can talk about it again lol, cause I couldnt be arsed watchig it anymore...if this is the kinda sh!t thats going on publically, fcuk knows whats REALLY going on behind the scenes. That's part of the show dude. A £5 Billion a year industry there is going to be politics, backstabbing, shafting and plenty of manouvering. I see it as the Max and Bernie show. When Crashgate first exploded onto the world's media every major newspaper had a "Crashgate" lift out section. Bernie would have had his hand on it the whole time. Racing has been hard to believe this season, Brawn and Red Bull have got the two best designers in the pitlane so that was OK, but now Force India? WTF? Who goes from Zero to Hero in 1 season? Is romance back in F1? Is car design a black art once more where one man truly can make a difference? You'll be watching again mate, you're just a little pissed off.

Russ_Turner Fat Fighter Is car design a black art once more where one man truly can make a difference? No. It's no coincidence that the two best teams this year have the two best designers working for them in the pitlane. The facts are pointing towards the opposite.

Red Bulls resurgence this year has been mainly because of the extra horsepower from the engine.

He was Webbers no.2 mech on the rear of the car and had been there for five years since they were Jag so think he knows what he is talking about. Their resurgence started when Renault were allowed to equalize their engine outside of the engine freeze as allowed by the other teams in the pit lane. Have you been watching a diferent series?

Well I obviously don't have mates who work in F1 however I thought Adrian Newey was more responsible for their success then their engine.

Interesting Qualifying... Anyone else watching? Game over for Vettel now. Should be a good race tomorrow now with Reubens needing to do well to snatch it. Just when it was looking good that Hamiltons dad doesnt get on the tv anymore and John Button steps forward again...

I thought what John Button said about it being like the Snett winter series was funny.

I love insider info! Got any more? So, Button pulls off a number of overtaking moves, Kovie sets his fellow Finn on fire, Webber wins well and Button is champion. It was actually an exciting race. Yeah.

Good race, good result. Gutted for Rubens not getting his longed craved for home win after a solid pole but he just didn't nail it hard enough early on.

Its good to have a British driver as world champion but as ive said many times, im not a Button fan. Either way it has been a very entertaining end to the season after the boring Brawn precession of the first 7-8 races... Roll on next year now with Alonso in a (hopefully competitive) Ferrari. The Abu Dhabi season closer looks a good circuit, its just a pity thats theres nothing left to race for other than a race win.

I think people have nothing to win or lose so might have fun and go for it. No idea if the circuit might be any good for overtaking.

Vettel and Barrichello will be fighting for 2nd place in the championship. Ferrari and Mclaren will both be looking to take 3rd in constructors also.

LOL at this years earnings: 1. Kimi Raikkonen $45m 2. Lewis Hamilton $18m 3. Fernando Alonso $15m 4. Nico Rosberg $8.5m 5. Felipe Massa $8m 6. Jarno Trulli $6.5m 7. Sebastian Vettel $6m No wonder everyone is scoffing at Kimi's demands for a drive this year

So ~$1m per championship point for Kimi, not a great deal tbf . Rosberg has done pretty well there.

You cant exactly blame the guy though. If Ferrari offered to pay him that then thats their fault! It is a stupid price though, even more so if you believe what Button was supposedly on. £3m a year or something..??

Button was on about 8 and rubens on 5 IIRC. But a 10m difference this year and you are still asking for close to double what the top drivers (ahead of you) got
