Well, I got up to watch it and it was worth it. A great start to the 2009 season.

Yeah I really enjoyed it. BBC have done a good job with it I think, the post race chat bit on interactive is a good idea. I won't post spoilers, but there was a stewards decision after the race people might not know about

I got up and watched it. My bird thinks im insane... haha. Very good race and it looks very good for the season ahead. The Brawn car has proven itself to be a possible contender, im still shocked by the turn around! Im not a fan of the new bbc commentator though, i found his voice too documentary styled and he needs to shut up a bit. Hopefully he'll be quieter as the races go on and give Brundle some time to talk. I am chuffed however at Vettel being in a reasonable car. I personally think he, and Kubica will be top challengers to Hamilton, Alonso and Massa (cars dependant). Roll on Malaysia!

The commentator is a bit dull. I wasn't a fan of James Allen either though. It's a pity Murray isn't back doing it again

A great race - just finished watching it. Unfortunately the result was spoiled for me. I couldn't watch it early cos the missis was doing a 10K run in Bradford at 9am. As they were preparing to set off I scanned around and saw one of those big city centre TV screens about 100m away with a shot of the podium on Then to top it, the race guy on the PA announced the result to all!

I was disappointed about what happened to Vettel and Kubica. I was happy with the result with 3 laps to go! Rubens must count himself very lucky with what he got considering his race.

Good good race. I still feel once the dig names sort the cars over the next 3 races it will be business as usual tho, Chief Engineer for McClaren came out saying after Spain they will dominate with their car, lol, interesting. And to all the Hamilton haters HA!...18th to 4th, with a crap car and starting on the soft tire at the start. (not including the 3rd pt he was givin due to the defualt). Felt really sorry for Vettel tho, he deserved that place.

Felt really sorry for Vettel tho, he deserved that place. kubica should have featured better as well, last few laps were pretty unlucky. And i already said hamilton drove well, you cant be too smug about the 18-4th though, it involved a fair amount of luck as well as talent. mclaren will get the car sorted and be back challenging for the front positions for sure, but i dont believe that everyone else will progress that much that brawn will be out of the top positions, just cant see that happening under ross, he has a VERY proven track record with his work in teams, and he will drive things forward and keep the car competitive. they also have the backing of virgin now, and while we dont know the full details, i bet there is a very good amount of money there coming into the team especailly with the results of this race, and the involvement that branson seems to be taking in the team. Branson would not back a team that wouldnt be competitive at the highest level IMO, and he will make sure that the sucess continues, cant see him setting himself up to back a team that was producing the kind of results honda were. I think that is why the sponsorship was announced so late on, branson wanted to make sure the cars were going to be competitive before putting his brand onto it.

Bloody brilliant race. Pleased for Button. Hamilton drove well. Shame about Germany and Poland's 'border dispute', thought I did cheer when it meant Button sealed the win! There's a lot of young, hungry talent, adapting well to the new set ups. This season will be a very good F1 season.

Brilliant race, nice move by the F1 bosses on the new regulations to make it more competitive. Button drove a faultless race but surely Barrichello would have been the man if he didnt have c bad start. Vettel and Kubica were unlucky and will be contenders this year.
