Weirdly i actually like the new cars, very retro looking... I do agree they dont sound very aggressive though, is this to do with lower revs for better reliability?

Oh and Daz.... Yes.... i know!!!!

It wont last though and you know it.... lol

Dont see it being the lower revs, at how often you hear the cars top out at 19,000 before?

who cares what the cars sound like, it was the best F1 race ive seen in years, the last race of the last season was edge of the seat stuff though, but in terms of driving and overtaking etc i thought the race was spot on.

      I like the new cars.

Hamilton's the daddy, Jenson's an unprofessional play boy, or at least he was, hopefully all the stuff with Honda and getting a pay cut have given him a kick up the arse. He showed no loyalty to Williams, the team that gave him his break, yet he threw several years of his career away at Honda, one presumes for the money, living in Monaco, won one race then went to ****.

Surtee was spot on with what he said, Jenson's performances at Honda after his win were nowhere near good enough, constantly out performed by Barrichello, who's no world beater, finished on half the points Barrichello did, but now he's got a competitive car he's turning up again... One can only hope it's because of the kick up the arse with what happened with honda and he's got his **** together now.

Kimi's had a personality bypass, totally boring and again unprofessional, he only won his title because Luca di Montezemola tore into him about earning his money, then he started driving well. Then the next year he went to **** again, and he crashed his car in Oz too.

Dont get how Hamilton has lost the points, im I missing something here?

Unless did Lewis somehow allow Trulli to pass him, yet Trulli passed him knowing he would get in trouble, or did Lewis allow him to be over taken knowing he would get 3rd and get away without being found out?

None of this makes any sence!?...stinks quite abit.

They're turning it into a farce again already, I mean how does trulli get away with overtaking behind the safety car yet Lewis and McLaren get penalised for not providing information the FIA had anyway and so had no reason to ask them for.

                    A very strange one...

Seems as tho Lewis let Trulli thru thinking he had to (as told to do so), then, when Trulli got penalised and docked 25s they kept schtum about it which would/could have exhonerated Trulli.

So, a bit off really and probably deserved punishment.

What stands out tho is that Toyota didn't challenge the ruling due to how they saw Mclaren get given short shrift last season when they challenged any ruling... yet the FIA suddenly decide to do the digging themselves, nearly a week later, and disqualify Lewis altogether - they certainly never seem to do themselves any favours (FIA) regarding showing impartiality.

seems a pretty fair decision based on what we have been told.

Toyota had already been punished at that GP for a wing infringement and had to start from the back of the grid.  From whats been said, it seems mclaren told lewis to pull over and let him pass, and then during the interviews with the FIA they lied about what had happened, presumably they didnt tell the FIA that hamilton had pulled over to get him past.  The would have known that doing so would have resulted in hamilton finishing in 4th place, so their actions were fraudulant in some respects.

I doubt very much they will take much further action against him, though i could see them fining the team

Fair decision on the hamilton issue i think. I think the fact that Mclaren lied is a big deal....and for the sake of 3rd instead of 4th? They must have known the risk involved? Mclaren/Hamilton fans love to whine about been badly done to, but they are not helping themselves at all. Mclaren are getting to be a very shady team.

On a positive note the season is shaping up to be one of the best seasons of all time i think.

                                  I think the FIA thought process went something like this;

                                  i) The April meeting on diffuser legality has already been instructed to find them retrospectively illegal.
ii) Which means the winner in Oz would become, oh crap, that cant happen.
iii) Quick, reopen stewards enquiry, find Mclaren guilt of something and get them DSQ'ed
                                  iv) GOTO ii
You did gain far too much fat though,I mean, you're not muscular at all, you're just a fat mess.

They tried to cheat, they were caught out. Simple.

Remember last year when they were fined for stealing and using Ferrari docs. They are like any other team, they will do anything they think they can get away with to win or gain from.

No, somthing still isnt making sence here, avoind all the usual crap reporting its not clear cut, like McClaren where made out to be lying, they havnt, they just didnt brint it to the stewards attention what happinned, cause they thought all decisions where made, and seeing as ALL radio trancemissions are freely available to them at any time, somthing doesnt sit right with this.

The obvious one being when places where retaken at the time...why wasnt anything said or reported?

how do you know they didnt lie?  the actual interviews after the race and this week etc with the teams/drivers havent been made public, so noone knows for sure what they actually said.

all we know is that they have been punished for misleading the fia.
