Hey, wasnt sure where to post this so it will go in here as its about training.

i was reading through the strength forum and there is a first timers comp coming up so i am trying out a few of the lifts to see if i "would" be able to compete.

we have a frame at our gym not sure if its the same type that will be used but guess its the same kinda thing.

and i was wondering if this is a good exercise to help build stronger/bigger legs? as i was thinking of adding it into my legs routine as something to do every week. 

if its not going to help that much i will just do it as a one off every now and then when the gym is empty, but if it is a good exercise to add in i will keep doing it.
