Free protein shakers - a waste?
08 February 2012 19:58
( permalink)
Anyone else think all the protein shakers you get free from companies are worthless? Currently have a few Kinetica one's (blue with silver lid) angered at just how useless it is, wont mix anything up and leaks. Have had Optimum Nutrition and Dymatize one's i've dug out that i got free that are useless too. I dont understand why a company would give a marketing product away for free when it doesnt do what it's supposed to, how does that reflect well on the company?! Would they send out samples of products that dont work... actually lets not go there! Reverting back to my trusty Myprotein one's i bought a long time ago is the only option, my post the leaky one's back to the head offices with a shake in, be nice for them to get protein all over their clothes for a change!

All the free ones ive had have been decent I agree with the predator ones. The only shaker ive had a problem with is the one I bought from My protein its 1 of the small ones which I wanted for my bag, leakes all over the place it just doesnt fit right i have to hold it very tight when shaking. I couldnt be botherd to complain.

When i first ever ordered protein, i ordered optimum health from discount-supplements. I ordered a couple of tubs and ended up with free shakers. I still have those shakers from back when i was about 16. 2 years and still fine, no cracks, leaks or anything. Wanted to order a couple off Oneon when i made an order before xmas but they had run out of stock so ordered the optimum health ones again. I find them okay. So my experience on free shakers was decent haha

I love my Maximuscle shaker still. Ive bought a few in Holland and Barrett the same style but they just seemed crap. The Maximuscle one has always served me well. I also have quite a few free ones from Monster Supps. There tiny ones are good but too tiny. Got sent a large one once. It was rubbish.

Not trying to big ourselves up, but we've given away some free ones that are excellent before. I know because I use the exact same type lol.

What make are the poor ones. I agree though why give away a pen with no ink makes the company look very bad! There are some very cheap shakers on the market - looking good and performing good are two very different things. The german brand is and always has been very good! However there mixers are no longer cool enough for most people!
An Alterego is a paradoxical escape.

i have had my shake for some time now, a few year cant even remember what make it is the printing has rubbed off.
The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion.

Pro10 We stick to Buchsteiner the quility seems good. Yup, if you're on about the "mixmaster" ones. Tried and tested classic. Have had various other ones over the years, but these are by far the best IMO

So for quality and value and reliability we all agree Buchsteiner all the way?
