Betting market averages out at Froch 4/7 with Dirrell 11/8. No massive Fav here!
 
My view is that it could be very much like the Taylor fight with Dirrell raking up points. Qustion being can Froch land a big one to stop him?

I quite liked froch until he came out with some disrespectful comments in the weekends paper.

He claimed if he was boxing in the same era as hagler, leonard and hearns, he would have beat them all.

He said hagler was just a brawler but he would have had the technical skills to beat him. What technical skills? Keeping your hands closer to your waist than your chin?

He then also said he had skill just like sugar ray and believe he could have beat him.

He then went on to say he had a stronger chin than tommy hearns etc etc.

That pissed me of...

Froch has to be one of  the worst 'boxers' I've ever seen.....big balls though. I can't see Froch doing very well at all in this comp

1987 to 1989 Leonard would have beaten Froch comfortably IMO.

I think Leonard could have took the fight at 168 and come in at around 160, used his ringcraft and boxing ability to make Froch look a bit wooden on the way to a UD.

They know it sells tickets so there's no way of knowing how genuine it is.

Leonard would have destroyed froch! Hagler would have outstrengthed him, and easily knocked him out. Hearns would simply ko him.

How can he claim to beat these fighters, when he cant keep his hands up? He has got into a terrible habit of leaving himself open, no matter how many times his corner tells him to get his hands up they soon fall closer to his waist.

Kessler is a totally different league to froch, so for that reason, froch cant win this tournament!

Kessler is overrated by many. Has not been in a competitive fight since being well beaten by JC.

As limited as Froch may be, he has at least as good a chance as any of the others of winning the tournament.

Although Froch has a mouth on him, like has been said, it's to sell tickets - take it with a pinch of salt!  In fact this particular fight it's the Americain with the gob on him, Froch's reply has simply been; it's in my back yard with 10,000+ fans, he's got to try and taunt me.
 
Personally, I think Froch is too heavy handed for all the super six contenders.  He's got a crappy defence (agreed), but his chin allows him to get away with it - to a degree!
 
I'm hoping for a Froch v Kessler final!  Certainly hope it comes to a climax more than the Heavyweight Prizefighers!  That was laughable!

froch by a knockout in 7th or 8th. i dont see him giving this guy the respect he gave taylor for being a puncher, so expect him to have no defence what so ever. after taken taylors punches for 12 rounds and only 1 stumple the other fighers will be looking to get the points in the bag and taken it to the scorecards. But froch hits hard and 12 rounds is a long time to avoid that 1 big shot so i think froch should win the whole thing.
