Aks weds- Weighted Tricep dips 3 x 8 Bench 3 x 8 Shoulder press 3 x 8 Skull crushers 3 x 8 Tricep pull downs 3 x 8 Three direct tricep exercises and only one chest and shoulder exercise? Doesn't seem well planned at all considering they are larger muscle groups than triceps and the fact that triceps will be worked to a certain extent whilst working the chest and shoulders. If you enjoy this workout then fine but I wouldn't recomend it to someone else. The following would be better IMO: Flat bench press Incline bench press Shoulder press (dumbell raises aswell if you like) Skull crushers

IRISHBLUE Hello Everyone, Some general advice please, just starting back in the gym after a long lay off, would be gratefull for some good full body routines. Rob. I saw some good advice from Drewsky the other day on creating a full body routine. Each day you have a compound exercise for push, pull and legs, and then also add in an isolation move of your choice. Something like the following: Monday Squats DB rows Flat bench press Skullcrushers Wednesday Chins Incline bench press Leg press DB curls Friday Deadlifts Shoulder press Lunges Side lateral raises Hope this helps mate.

The following would be better IMO: Flat bench press Incline bench press Shoulder press (dumbell raises aswell if you like) Skull crushers Yeah if you do Dips try the lean forward dips to emphasize the chest. As Powerhouse said each to there own and depends what you find works for you. I sometimes do an exercise (can't remember the name) but where you lie on the bench, hold a dumbell by your chest with two hands and then bring it up from your chest then back behind your head, down then back up to the beginning position. Found thats helped with my lower chest. With Skull Crushers make sure you have someone spotting you to get the best technique. I do DB press for bench as i was suffering from a shoulder injury and find standard bench aggravates it and find i can get a better stretch with DB press. It may take you a few weeks to find out what you like and what helps you gain but keep us informed.
