Some brilliant stuff here, my dad was always acting daft and cracking rubbish jokes all the time, all my mates loved him. One of the things that sticks out was the Hawaii 5.0 show, as soon as the theme tune came on it was wrestling time my dad v's me and my bro. When dad was away, me and my bro used to get a bit carried away without the third man and mam was right 'its gonner end in tears' .... always did.lol Thinking about it Starsky and Hutch and The Professionals theme tunes had the same effect..

We gave my gfs Dad an iPod nano for his birthday the other week. His response was "Why have you bought me another mobile phone!" I found that quite funny! Pete - I salute Magpies! Always have!

My old man was/is the king of "No Money Fun" If he could get away without spending the money, he would. After watching Blue Peter when I was about 6-7, I decided I wanted to buy some glitter (Think it was about 10p a jar from the local shop) "I'll make some instead" came the reply from Dad when I asked for the money. He went to my sandpit (again, what he had made from some old wood and a load of sand we nicked from the local beach), and got a cup full of sand. He got one of my mums best pans out, and added the sand and a load of food coloring, and put in on the stove to heat up & dry out. After about an hour, the pan was ruined, the house stunk; and the glitter was just about useless! Great times though!
