Is it true when cooking with garlic if you cut the bulb in half and remove the green shoot it takes away the garlic
breath or is this an old wives tale??

      When cooked whole Garlic tends to be much milder and sweeter. It's when you chop it up or crush it that you really notice the stronger taste.

              never been accused of smelling of garlic.
