Good value for money protein powders- maximum £40
02 February 2012 23:10
( permalink)
Im planning on drinking it 5-6 times a day including post workout.-So my meals will consist of shakes for the protein side of things. Dont ask why but I just am because I dont have much time to prepare food as I study alot and work..so im sticking to protein shakes. so Im looking for a good value for money protein powder and alot of protein per seving. Im planning on buying gaspari myofusion.. it gives 63 servings ..i 'think. Reason for me buying gaspari myofusion is because it has a different types of protein in it.. also If I drink it around 6 times a day it will last me bang on a week.. it will give me about 40grams of protein per shake-so having 2 serving in one shake. Which is what I need. So ill be buying one tub of gaspari every week.. which will be about £34. Do you know any other brands or protein powders which will suit me?? thanks guys please help

Nutrisport 90+ is a whey/ casein blend and is around £40 for 5kg, also try MyProtein, Bodybuilding Warehouse, Ironscience, MaxiRaw, Bulk Powders or Matrix as will all offer 5kg whey for around the £40-£50 mark giving around 100 servings if your after 40-50g of protein per serving.

Ignore how many "servings" a product contains as its pretty much a useless fact. i.e. Brand A recommends 25g servings and their container has 100 servings = 2.5kg Brand B recommends 50g servings and their container has 50 servings, again = 2.5g Look at the total weight of the product when comparing price, and obviously the percentage of that weight which is protein. Hope this helps

Yep I just see it all as 1 scoop = 1 serving. Going all weights and measures is a bit too much faffing as you should be getting protein from other sources too. Just eat whenever youre hungry.

Im not having a go at the product its very popular just make sure you know what your buying. As for your reason for buying it, that it uses differnt proteins thats a good enough reason but there are many blended products about dont just narrow your search to 1. Maxiraw ,My protein, Bulkpowders all do blended proteins.

cooked chicken breasts - bang them in tinfoil and put them in your bag. they will keep for the day and would be a better option than 6 shakes a day. or cans of tuna, you dont even need a fork. Just open the can and eat. seriously are you that busy you cant do that? just buy a bulk suppliers blend, becasue a normal brand will cost you a lot of money
