Jasmine teas taste a lot nice IME and are pretty much identical from a nutrition point of view.

I think for something to be truly effective it has to be unpleasant and hard work. Green tea gets my vote I think it's one of those stacking things - on its own, not much cop - added to a regime of good ideas, it's a useful addition.

James drewsky Jasmine teas taste a lot nice IME and are pretty much identical from a nutrition point of view. What's the Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) content of Jasmine tea? It's just green tea dried in the presence of jasmine flowers so the same. Some have flowers in so technically there would be less weight for weight but you use more... There are some teas made just from the flower but you'd have a hard time to get that in the UK.

Nobody use the extract powder then? I'd love to hear how much you mix with a standard mug of hot water.

The flavoured variety are quite nice, and make for a good change from standard green. I like to leave the bag in a good while - I find it aids appetite suppression. Never put milk in green tea - it'll just taste and look like cack.

I always drink a cup of ginseng tea every morning after my workout... It gives me a nice energy boost which sets my day up nicely.. tastes like crap or not, I wouldn't change that for the world!
