Hazard a touch of narcissism without shame. There is no room for junk food in any diet whatsoever, leave the junk in the bin.

There has been research lately that indicates that green tea may reduce testosterone levels. It doesn't matter to me as I am on TRT, but for those who are a little older, perhaps slightly concerned about declining levels, it might be something to think about

Is this true about the green tea reducing testarone? Ive been taking the myprotein extract and moved onto the slighttly stronger zipvit version, it does seem to be good for making u feel a lil better/energetic in the day, and a sense of wellbeing, also aids slightly in fatloss id say its leaned me out abit.I stack it with CLA and caffeine pills sometimes also, the caffeine pills can crash me tho, probably due to all the caffeine i consume in a day anyways lol Im taking trib atm, tryed variious forms, and my labido seems ok, so not sure if green tea affects testarone itself, well i hope not lol :(

It's quite possible that it affects other hormones and enzymatic conversion in addition to effects on testosterone. I very much doubt changes will be apparent to the user in terms of libido etc. Blood work would be necessary to determine (any) level of impact.

theiopener Catstar It tastes bitter because youre burning the leaves. Water needs to be off boiling point. So boil a kettle, pour it into a cup, top it off with some cold water and let your tea bag bre for 1 minute then try it Try it with a splenda tab or two as well Correct, it even used to say on the box I had thet you need to let the water off the boil as it makes the tea very bitter.

Green tea polyphenols inhibit testosterone production in rat Leydig cells Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, Federal University of Pernambuco, 50607-901 Recife, PE, Brazil. Study appeard in the Asian Journal of Andrology March 2009 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih...d/19330017?dopt=Abstract Also: Modulation of endocrine systems and food intake by green tea epigallocatechin gallate Kao YH, Hiipakka RA, Liao S Endocrinology 2000 Mar;141(3):980-7 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez It's very early stage research James, hence my use of the words 'may' and 'possibly'. The first study data involves rat Leydig cells in vitro so obviously we can't extrapolate to any notable degree, but it's still worthy of consideration in the grand scheme, perhaps in particularly older guys who drink quite a bit of green tea. The second is a in vivo rat study. It appeared that the extracts interfered with Leydig cell activity, but the suppression was offset with the introduction of HCG.

No idea why you'd want to use caps instead of actual green tea! I absolutely love green tea, best thing ever! I only got into it recently, but I've always been a tea fiend. Now all this talk about the health benefits of green tea are a bonus, because I have about 3 cups a day
