I love green tea! Maske sure you brew it correctly by not burning the leaves. Pour your boiling water leav it to drop below boiling point then put the tea bag in. Leave to brew for about 2-4mins. I leave the bag in whilst I drink it. If you love your teas but would like to give green tea a go then try the Twinnings Green Tea and Black Tea blend. You can add milk and sweetner/sugar to this and its not far off a nice standard tea! But you get all the detox and metabolic benefits to boot

Sure like 1 cap of green tea will equal a few cups worth yes? But if you prefer to drink it fair play, ive tasted green tea and green tea and lemon and it tastes fine, you get used to it. But if i was on a cut i think i would defo buy caps, but might also drink a cup or two a day as well.

Welshy_Pete Green Tea Extract 45% EGCG 180 CAPSULES for £10 450mg green tea EXTRACT containing: 98% Tea Polyphenols 73% Catechins 46% EGCG Take 1 Capsules per Day with meals upto 3 capsules can be taken Hello I've been offerd green tea caps by a friend which Im now thinking about taking changed my mind LOL. I dont understand all these figures are they any good? Also how many a day you recon I need or just training days only? Im loosing weight at the moment also extra energy boost and any little help along the way like this is worth a try. Both links a great read, nothing long and boring, very interesting. http://www.amazing-green-tea.com/egcg.html http://www.amazing-gree...gcg-and-weight-loss.html Myprotein green tea caps sound good to me, the mega green tea @ one a day is better than the cheaper ones in order to get a good dose of EGCG you only need 1 mega cap compared to 11 cheaper caps to get the same amount of EGCG. Apparantly 1 mega cap = 8/9 cups of green tea, i defo be investing in these during my cut.

1 cap = 8/9 cups of tea? Wow that's good, I love drinking green tea but I'd still find it very hard to drink that many cups a day, hmm...

GazS All that green/herbal tea is a con, they smell ok but just taste of plain water. Pretty strange assertion there... What has the smell/taste of it got to do with anything when we're talking about the health benefits of it? And if it tastes like water then you clearly just haven't been making it right!

GazS All that green/herbal tea is a con, they smell ok but just taste of plain water. The health benefits are shown by people who use it and drink it or caps daily. I've seen a diffrence using green tea and other's have to. It's no con far from it look how many years green tea been around. Also the amount of people taking it all over the world. They dont taste of plain old water where you get that from I dont know.

Taking a cup or two daily is defo a good thing, but some of the purpoted benefits of green tea require a daily consumption of 5+ cups a day. Catstar i have been trying to get a cup a day in now for about 6months, i dont know if its giving me any noticeable changes as im doing a lot of other stuff too which i know will effect my body. I dont like the taste of it tho, so i tend to pour it a good hour before i drink it then neck it cold. i just add boiling water to the cup along with the bag and let it steep till it goes cold

While not as popular or tasty as Green tea, White tea is excellent stuff too! I've only ever seen it put out by Clipper/Sainsbury's! White tea is apparently better 2 as it's less processed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_tea

I drink white tea, as I find the taste less bitter/grassy like a strong green tea can be, and then take green tea caps as well. Benefits of both!

I drink the odd cup of green tea with ginseng. It tastes like juicy fruit chewing gum and is quite platable. When I start cutting however I think I'm going to start with the caps because I simply can't drink that much liquid in a day.

WHOA!!!! Ha ha, supplement junkie lol I was on about the drink when I mentioned white To my knowledge nobody does a white tea extract. While White tea is less processed than Green, the goodness they provide are virtually identitcal I would imagine - maybe white is a nose ahead of Green?? all the studies have been done with Green so you can't go wrong with that! I just love the drink... Welshy_Pete So the best tea in order are? Where can you buy white tea caps? 1st, white tea 2nd, green tea 3rd, black tea
