oh gosh, well ... Unsurprisingly, half a dozen mini-workouts and a little less pic n mix made no difference.

I'll put up one pic just so im not a total drop out but theres no point doing all the comparisons as the only difference is the lighting and it would be stupid entering it into the competition poll

Lesson of the day- motivation has to come from within- and mine ran out some years ago!!!!

well this is weird i never had a problem uploading before. My computer must be ashamed of me:( actually i feel pretty ashamed that i couldnt make any effort. I never thought i would stop weight training but even with something like this to motivate me, I was useless and found every excuse not to do a workout. OK i did my classes but thats not the point :( sorry to be such a letdown

Hey you!!!!  nothing to be ashamed about..what you said was true, if the feeling isn't inside then there is no point in doing it cos your heart just would not be in it.  You still look extremely beautiful so SHURRUP and gizza hug!!  No?

Okay...I'll give you a  hug then

The big problem with you Liz is quite frankly, you're flippin' gorgeous already...

If I was you, and looked like that ALL THE TIME WITHOUT TRYING I don't think I'd do much either!

You did some positives - there were days where you made a concerted effort to eat more protein and you definitely ate a lot less pic n mix. You said one step at a time, nothing too drastic, looks like you did achieve something afterall

Well your hair is certainly different

Shame you couldn't motivate yourself, but you're clearly staying in good nick, so as per Flick really. Perhaps you should think about doing a comp again? Bloody loads of classes to choose from now, so you could tailor your goals to whatever you think you'd like to achieve?

Mid-section looking a little tighter but as above, you're genetically in great nick (and fabulously gorgeous!).

can you see the photo? I cant...weird.....

ha tony yes i did notice that my hair and face were significantly NOT improved in the after pic- i was still half asleep lol

i did think if i could find the motivation to diet a little/train a little I could achieve a bikini class figure but tbh i just dont know whats up with me! I still love teaching my classes but when i look at a weight my hands go all weak.(Actually i get that when i put my hands on a gymnastics bar aswel)

I could blame it on being a mum but plenty of people have children and then go on to do comps- but I think a lot of them get the bug AFTER having kids, they dont try to carry it on through a complete change of identity.

Another UK FBB-turned-mum  who I have been speaking to  is going through the same thing- so maybe even if I am completely mental at least Im not the only one.....!

                      I think your priorities change - I certainly don't think you're mental.
When you're settled, have a family, kids - they're you're priority. Looking after numero uno just doesn't seem so important anymore.
If you're healthy, and happy with how you look, who gives a fig that you don't lift weights? You're still active. Just something else ticks your boxes now - classes.
