Hair Loss Products Advice 11 February 2012 13:05 (permalink)
Hi Guys,

First off this isnt cycle or roid related, but seems most search results led here.

Been doing some reading on here and wanted some advice on best/safest hair loss products and what doses/frequency to take form peoples experiences.

Im 34 now and have a bit of receding and some thinning, i still look like i got hair though. not sure how bald il go, dad had a full head, but mums dad is bald. seems it may happen, if it does i know i cant stop it, but if i could prolong it a bit or slow it down that'd be good.

I know theres minoxidil, finstrade, spiro (someone mentioned making a cream out of it?), nizoral? not sure which to try or what combination.

- if i stop taking these at some point will it accelerate the loss - i.e. do i need to stay on them forever. is there a lenght of time you should stay on - cycling?
- some seem to have side effects? what are the risks? is it just trial and error?
- can any have a negative reaction? i.e. cause MORE hair loss. i tried alpecin and found it actually shedded my hair so i panicked and stopped! ppl have mentioned this can happen at the beginning but doe it grow back , is this correct?

or if anyone could give soe advice or a direction to some good info on naturally looking after your hair and supps etc? so many marketing sites on the net dont know what to trust.
My hairs still there, and if its gonna go il grow old gracefully :) but if i can do something to slow it down that safe and effective wy not!

cheers.

I'd use nizoral a few times a week and get some minoxidil.
Minoxidil needs to be used continually. You will get some shedding for the 1st few wks but it stops the.
I get mine from here: http://www.minoxidil-direct.co.uk/Kirkland_Minoxidil.htm
I also use alpecin shampoo,You can buy this in Boots.

yeah I found mine grew back somewhat. Its no worse now than it was 18 months ago and I've ran a few cycles in that time.
