think thats a direct question. phd pharma blend, USN pure protein IGF or CNP pro-peptide are always good options. taste great in all flavours as well.

Adam thanks so much, you have been so helpful to me!

I guess if the taste sucks i can always add something in. Maybe if i got banana i could add a banana into the blender etc.
But i heard chocolate aint all that bad so i'll go for it :D. Worth a shot really :P.

THanks everyone too btw for helping me out on this! I have also posted a newbie help thread in the routines section for some advice and tips on that too!

    Thanks, once again!

Okay so i went back onto Monster Supps. and looked into the AIO's.
The prices aren't really much difference.

I take creatine too, so i was thinking, should i just get the AIO drink. I am so stuck now. I think i may go for an all in one. But really don't know which... again!

If anyone has tried any of these products please let me know what you like / dislike of them.

Sci Mx Omni MX hardcore 2kg
      http://monstersupplemen...mni-MX-hardcore-2kg.html

PhD Nutrition Synergy Iso7 : 2kg + FREE PHD SMART BAR
      http://monstersupplemen...-FREE-PHD-SMART-BAR.html

Those are both 2kg ones, for not far off 30£.

      Now this one, only 1.2kg.

Maximuscle Cyclone : 1.2kg + FREE PHD SMART BAR
      http://monstersupplemen...-FREE-PHD-SMART-BAR.html

All have decent reviews. The maximuscle seems to be down on taste. But i'm just asking which is good to go with. Thanks all with this btw!

      EDIT!
Okay i have narrowed it down, finally to two products. One is an all in one. And one is the elite protein.
      http://monstersupplemen...y-Protein----5.0-lb.html
      http://monstersupplemen...-FREE-PHD-SMART-BAR.html

Just reviews on those now. Damn i can't make up my mind :P.

I am no diet expert mate but looking at your diet it seems to contain a fair amount of carbs, and a protein rather than mass-gainer may be a better option for you.

The other benefit of protein + creatine rather than AIO options is that you can tailor your creatine intake to suit - rather than taking more than you need through using an AIO all the time.

I take it as finance is tight for you; you couldn't afford both? (i.e. have an AIO after your workout and use a protein for your other shakes - thus limiting your creating intake).  Therefore a protein (imo) would be your better option on this occasion.

I also feel that the Sci-Mx Omni would be better placed in your comparison rather than the 'hardcore' product.  The protein/carb/creatine ratio compares more evenly with the other products you mention (as the hardcore product has larger suggested serving sizes and a whopping 160g of carbs per serving!)

You also mention taste and cost previously.  I don't think that you would be too disappointed with the taste of any of the AIO's if you decided to go down this route (though my mantra atm seems to be "taste is subjective" and you may prefer some over others).  The most cost effective in terms of cost/servings ratio would be the PhD offering.

As a rep I cannot really recommend you one over the other as it could be the case that I am pushing you the 'hard sell'.

I see thanks Wilks. Yeah, the budget is tight at the moment.

I think i may get the PhD and start with that. I mean if i order it now, i have atleast another 10 servings of my protein to go. Thought there was less than there actually is but hay.

If i then decide i want to limit my intake of creatine, i can always order some Dymatize Nutrition Elite Whey Protein when i get more cash in my bank. Hopefully i'll be able to get a part time job or something soon.

To you Wilks, does this sound decent? If i go for the PhD 2kg now, and start taking that Post Workout, then other protein during the day. Once i run out of my Whey i will then have to take the PhD for all of my shakes.
          Is this okay?

Damn i hate being 15 turning 16 ¬¬ in the middle of paper round jobs and part time jobs. So annoying lmao.

Haha I think everyone's budget's tight at the moment mate - I know mine is :)

The PhD actually only contains 2.6g of creatine per serving and recommends 2 servings per day.  I usually take 5g of creatine per day anyway mate so this would be fine as far as creatine intake goes.

There will be no problem using the Synergy Iso-7 for your shakes mate.

Ah great, i think i am sorted and set to buy then. :D
I will order that PhD tomorrow after school or something :).

I may also get mammoth 2500 for a cheat meal during school times. Drinking is easier than eating :P, well at my school it is because they are all n*bs lmao.

Thanks again to anyone who helped me here! Especially the 2 reps.

Yeah i will always be happy to review it back on here, half way or all the way through the tub.

I have tried a couple of products before from holland and barret and never got any luck. Especially with taste. I have also tried something from decathlon too which was slightly better tasting.

I can't wait for it! I just hope now it suits me and i can get some good gains from it! With hard work and a good diet i'm sure i can use it to my advantage :D

These last two lines are the key to any gains in physique mate and it's good to see you recognise that supplements won't do the work for you.

                        Hello,

                        New member here!!!

I have tried so many different proteins and agree its always hard to find the right product that gives you all your after but also doesn't taste too sweat nor like cardboard!!!!!

I have recently been using a 90% whey protein isolate from k2 nutrition, there's no creatine added but you do get a massive 94g of protein in every 100g!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure if offers still on but was only paying around £15 which found very good value protein.

They also do creatine so may be worth a ganders!!

Hope this helps and keep in touch.

Fresh, no site given. Or were you on about the Monster Supps. website?

And yeah Wilks, quite a few people i know do think they can rely on shakes. They say i'm an idiot for eating 6 or more meals a day. I just laugh it off and say to myself, we'll see who gains though.

I have never really relyed on shakes at all tbh. I used to be a district and national swimmer and never touched anything and was defined. All hands on! I only started to take supps when i joined the gym. Just to help out here and there for protein intake :D.

Thanks ONCE again for your help!

Reflex- one stop definitely worth a mention here, cheaper then synergy, get more.
Potentially better ingredients and quantities? Admittedly doesn't taste as good though.

Ah yeah looks sweet. But don't get me looking into another supp :P. I don't fancy changing my mind once again.

Just on a different topic. Do all all in ones contain natural test boosters?
I know that PhD Iso 7 does. What others do?
Didn't want to open another thread for this. Hope i get some answers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that you are asking tbout the 'Methoxyisoflavone' contained in the Iso-7?  A shameless cut and paste (lol):

"In a nutshell, methoxyisoflavone and ipriflavone are non-hormonal anabolic / anti-catabolic compounds. These powerful flavones have been shown to increase protein synthesis, and improve overall recovery from exercise"

So rather than being a natural test booster, they may improve protein synthisis which could lead to better gains in muscle.

As for your direct question, off the top of my head I think Boditronics Profusion Reloaded and Maximuscle Promax Extreme
contain Methoxyisoflavone.  There may be others which other people have used of course as there are many products around.

                                  Hope this helps.

Going on my own personal experince id say as a plain, effective concentrate protein cant go wrong with Optimum Healths Protein.Tastes lovely, either in Strawberry,Choc or Vanilla.Noticed decent gains, and is a large tub at under £25 quid so not bad at all.
Hear good things about Reflex Instant Whey which i will try soon

If you wanna go for a blend id rate Myofusion slightly over Boditronics express whey.Have gained well on the myo,and doesnt leave me as bloated;which i noticed at times with the cassein in the Boditronics whey. Both taste and mix well tho.
Ive heard good things about CNP`s Pro Peptide but havent tryed any myself yet.

In terms of all in one, Cyclone gave me great gains in both strength, weight and muscle size but is costly, and possibly easier to mix up yourself, but if u have the money Cyclone is a good product, despite people dissing maximuscle.Sure they are expensive, but there products do work , well atleast the protein side of things lol

Also forget to mention PHD do both a good all in one, and whey protein, taste is a lil weak but everything else + extras included make it worth trying atleast 1 tub and see how you get on.
Hope this info helps with your new protein choice :)

This is slightly miss-leading, (for me anyways haha).

formula containing protein, carbs, creatine, glutamine, natural test boosters, added BCAA's, and taurine.
