Hi Fellas newbie needing advice 07 September 2011 17:58 (permalink)
Hi fellas, First time on a forum and im hoping am in the rite place.  Ive been training consistantly for about 4 months now and the last six wks ive been stuck on the same weight on my bench press.  My chest routine is as follows. 3 sets of 10 flat bench, cant lift more than 55kg 3 sets close grip 40kg 3 sets incline 40kg plus dumbell flys between 15-20kg,  I also do 3 sets skull crusher 22kg plus front and lateral raise, I have an all in one protein shake 60mins before training and whey protein after along with amino acid tabs.  Am i doing something wrong??  i think i should be lifting alot more but just cant improve on what am doing. I struggle to complet it at the weigh im lifting.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance

      welcome.

add more weight, say 5-10kg and lower the reps to 5 and do 5 sets, or lower the reps to 3 and do 8 sets. do this for a couple of months and the weight will go up for you.
