Hi guys - I am new, and I'd like advice

Hi everyone! I am new onto this forum. I have been on MyProtein for a wee bit. I am a 22 yo and I have been training seriously since ~Aug/Sep '11. I have really toned up, lost body fat and really improved my fitness in general. Right now I do a lot of HIIT training, cardio with weight sessions. I mix up my weights where by I have a legs day (Squats, DLs, Presses, Curls and Calf raises), Arms (Curls, Over-head tri extensions, hammer curls, reverse curls and dips), back, Chest and shoulder days (pressing, rows etc) and superset with Ab work throughout. I really am seeing a huge improvement and combined with a strict protein rich diet, I feel I am (maybe) onto a winner. I am tring to stay away from Wheat/gluten as I have had problems with this for a while. My daily food diary generally follows: Breakfast - Oatibix biscuit, impact whey (MyProtein), Peanut butter and skimmed milk. Mug of Green Tea Mid Morning - Impact whey shake and rice cake Lunch - Tin of Tuna, spinach and cottage cheese Mid Afternoon - Coffee and piece of fruit/nuts Dinner - Turkey/Chicken/Fish/Steak with butternut squash mashed and steamed/roasted veg Before bed - Shake and crunchy peanut butter 3-4L fluid daily Most days I will have an apple or bananas pre work out. Post W/O I always follow with a shake and rice cake/virtue bar I supplement at the moment with Omega-3, CLA, L-Carnitine and Thermopure pre w/o. I am really interested in going down the Bikini/fitness route and wanted some advice, some direction and basically some knowledge as I am struggling to find anything online! Thanks everyone :)

Hi kemslie, welcome to MT. Are you thinking of entering a comp this year or next? With the UKBFF fitness class you need to perform a routine like a gymnastic routine, which you should bear in mind when choosing what you want to do.

Hi Hazel, Thanks for your reply! To be honest I am literally BRAND NEW to this. I wouldn't know the first thing about competing etc. I wanted to go towards Bikini if I could. I am not a supple girl at all... I am also very interested in olympic and powerlifting. Is there any one from the Aberdeen area on here with any advice? Any gyms up in Scotland who'd be willing to get me on the right tracks? Thanks Kems
