I don't know if it's been mentioned or not yet but hipacc.org does not display correctly in firefox. I just thought I'd mention this in case you are unaware, and since Firefox 2 has been released today you might find a lot more visitors using it being unable to view the site properly.

ORIGINAL: davedarave01uk just the one question on the weekends i play football now im wondering as the hipacc diet on weekends will mean i will have low glycogen stores would drinking a bottle of lucozade before the game be ok to keep me replenished during the game or would i be better off doing my usual routine of ephedrine basicly i want to have enough energy to last the 90 mins dont wanna seize up or ruin my progress on the plan Good question, and an issue I'm sure others will stumble across! Before I answer though, what's your day job and do you work Mon-Fri 9-5?

Don't you still advocate a protein shake before morning cardio?

Dear LittleJones, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. As Firefox has an estimated 14% of the browser market we should cater for these users. IE7 has also just been released and solves many of the problems of earlier versions and is much improved and faster. Please let us know what specific problems you have encountered as there are variations due to personalised settings, microsoft plug-ins (e.g. Excel spreadsheets) and what version is being used. Once I have these noted I can make necessary repairs to the web site. Thank you again, Rhodri I don't know if it's been mentioned or not yet but hipacc.org does not display correctly in firefox. I just thought I'd mention this in case you are unaware, and since Firefox 2 has been released today you might find a lot more visitors using it being unable to view the site properly.

ORIGINAL: CheekyChappie Don't you still advocate a protein shake before morning cardio? It depends on the person, but I assumed Dave is looking to lose weight as a priority which was why he is going on the HiPaCC regimen. If it was a bodybuilder looking to build/maintain muscle as an equal priority to losing fat, then yes I would adocate a whey shake before morning cardio

Dave you can have water, tea, coffee, etc as you please - so ahve more drinks for brekkie if you like. Bring your mid-pm snack forward to have before the game as opposed to having too much Lucozade - or you'll crash late in the game

That would be fine, as long as the basis of carb cycling was still adhered to
