A muscle that's weak in isolation will be weak in integration.

i would use a small saw or a hammer to take them off the wall careful not to damage the plaster.

Mini hacksaw? - would take hours to hack through each slat wouldn't it?

Chain saw - too rough, would mess up the edges

Scissors - they are wooden slat's not material

    Anyone else???
Each slat is 3.5cm wide and 3mm thick.
I thought about using a jigsaw with a fine tooth blade but when the blind is in a stack obviously it too thick.
A band saw would do but I don't have one.

lol, ahh though you where removing them.

No sure way, to be honest I would only attempt that with a Bandsaw or sommin, anything by hand would be too awkward or end up a mess.

Do you have any umm trying to think of the word here, indutrial matieral people , could tkae it down to them (dont it myself) they usually have a quality Bandsaw for gutting MDF, pay them a few quid to lop some off.

Problem is you you have to work out the right width, and even remove the required amount from each side so its even.

You can buy a special venetian blind trimming kit. Homebase sell them for their blinds.

If each slat is 3.5cm wide and 3 mm thick...

You could have had them done with a hacksaw by now As long as they haven't got a mile long drop...

Seriously mate, just try cutting one with a hacksaw-it'll take minutes to get through. I've been here before with other jobs, you spend ages thinking of an easier way of doing something, keep it simple and get stuck in.

Snips would just splint the wood TBH on these.
Hack saw just wouldn't be uniform enough.

    I need a bandsaw then I think.
